Grand Mufti Sheikh al-Hilali of Australia, who says Australian women are meat and deserve to be raped, has been spreading hatred and bigotry for 20 years. So why do so-called ‘moderate’ Muslims keep him on as the leading Islamic cleric?

Maybe because, according to Islamic teachings, being a moderate Muslim means you don’t have to actually wage jihad, but you still must support it.
