Self-Immolation? Or ‘Honor Burning’ by her father?

A signature of the Muslim world, unhappy girls and women account for the highest number of burn victims, as they either try to self-immolate or are set on fire by a husband or family member in an attempted honor killing.

In this case, a Jordanian husband was impotent and could not consummate his marriage. So he sends his wife back to her father, accusing her (wrongly) of not being a virgin. Soon after, she arrives at a hospital with 50% of her body burned.
