More importantly than how much we give them, is what do we get for our money? with the money we give to Israel, 80% is mandated to be spent in the US, on American defense companies. The other 20% spent on intel and R&D. Israel also provides a safe port for our naval vessels…the only safe port in the middle east where we can refuel and do repairs etc. Israel also stores a huge cache of our weapons. They have no access to it, but they secure it for us. What do you we get from Pakistan? Burned flags? Assistance to our enemies? Knives in our backs? What do we get for our money?

But back to the important things…like muhammed… how come the word palestinians was never mentioned once in the koran (or jerusalem)? i mean, at one point he even agreed that Israel was the home of the people of the book… did he not care about the palestinians when he gave away “their land”?

anb, that’s because the only people who were ever called Palestine anything were the Jews. The Hebrew newspaper of the region used to be called the Palestine Post. The moniker of Palestinian people was coined by Yassir Arafat sometime between 1967 and 1972.
The UN resolution in 1947 divided up the British mandate called Palestine into two states for two people – Jewish and Arab. The area that is now Jordan was designated to be the Arab State with the rest for the Jewish state. But the Arabs didn’t want that and went to war with Israel as soon as the ink was dry.Arab leaders committed to the destruction of the state of Israel invented the concept of a Palestinian people in order to justify interminable war against Israel.
There are many Arabs from Palestine now living in Jordan but most are in refugee camps and are not allowed to have Jordanian citizenship. The Arabs never wanted two states and they still don’t. They want all of Israel. The 2-state solution is a pipe dream of Western leaders dependent on Arab oil.
Israel was stupid in 1967. They should have expelled every Arab from their land, just like the Arabs did to the Jews who had been living in in Arab countries for centuries before 1948.
As for Jerusalem, that name appears only one time in the Quran – when prophet Mo passed though there once. Arabs have no historical connection to Jerusalem whatsoever.

In the Hilali & Khan translation of the Qur’an, Jerusalem is mentioned in Surahs 2,7, 17 & 20. In every case, it is in a parenthetical expression from tafsir, never in the canonical text. With the exception of the Miraj, the references are Hebraic.
anb, another consideration, the arabs will never be at peace with the people of the God of Moses, Isaac, and Jacob, the Israeli’s. How mant billions, you ask. I ask WHY even just one dollar. DO they deserve it, no, but we must remind ourselves why the Bush Administration conceived to the idea, they were suppose to be fighting the terrorist because of the possibility of Nuclear weapons falling into the hands of these monster of islam. but as usual no good deed goes unpunished, not for long anyway.
