A Muslim man who suffered from ‘dogophobia’ drowned after he fled in terror from a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, straight into a lake. Muslim disdain for dogs is well-known, never more apparent than in European neighborhoods where non-Muslims’ pet dogs seem to ‘mysteriously’ drop dead of poisoning.
UK DAILY MAIL Mohammed Faisal, 24, died after he jumped head-first into a bush which stood next to the lake. The inquest heard that the dog’s owner Ritchie Frost did his best to assist Mr Faisal, who could not swim, but that he died after the lake plunge on September 28, 2011.
Mr Faisal, from Millfield, Peterborough, had been walking home when he was scared by a Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Locki, which was being walked by Mr Frost and his children.
In a police statement read out to the inquest Mr Frost, from the Fletton area of Peterborough, said he had taken the dog off its lead and was alerted to Mr Faisal’s presence after hearing a ‘scream’ from around a bend in the path.
Mr Frost said he saw Mr Faisal dive head-first into a bush towards the lake. The dog tried to ‘trot’ after Mr Faisal, but obeyed when Mr Frost called it back.
The hearing was told that Mr Frost went over to the bushes and the edge of the lake to reassure Mr Faisal that his dog was ‘friendly’. He saw his head ‘bob’ above the water before it disappeared beneath the surface and did not reappear.
The inquest heard evidence from Samantha Persaud, who was Mr Faisal’s work colleague at the call centre and had been walking behind him on a footpath near to the lake just before his death. In her statement to police she said she briefly lost sight of Mr Faisal after he walked around a bend but he then reappeared, running past her looking ‘scared’ before hiding in a bush.
Ms Persuad then saw a dog as well as a nearby man and woman. She said: ‘The dog appeared to be ambling along paying no attention to anything.’ She felt that Mr Faisal was ‘afraid’ of the dog but she did not feel there was a threat as the animal had a ball in its mouth throughout the whole incident and was not barking or growling, and so she continued on her journey.
The coroner also heard evidence from Detective Sergeant David Liddle, who told the court that there was no record of aggressive behaviour in the dog’s past according to its vet.
Nobody could be scared of my two doggies, not even a Muslim ! Actually, I realise now, they could even be quite good protection (as well as a pork pie and strips of bacon in my coat pocket).
Liana, these dogs should go on a banned species register and be allowed to die out in an orderly fashion. No more breeding! The same with all fighting dogs that threaten people.

I place a child’s life before an animals every time and I have two Scotties that I adore. It is just that certain breeds can be hot wired to attack and it is so sad when they are put down, and sometimes they look absolutely surprized that they are being manhandled by the police on their way to be shot. All breeds have different temperaments.Many Chow’s,cocker spaniels,poddles etc are not good around small children.They also have individual personalities.
Pit bulls have been so horribly abused by man it is surprising more people aren’t mauled by them.

I have rescued many,many animals; from ferrets to snakes to dogs and raccoons,all ill treated by people.I had a coon hound that was anti-social from severe abuse and a young son at the same time.My son was taught and understood to respect animals.The dog bit me a few times ,in fear ,but no one else-ever.As an owner you are responsible for their exposure to society,he was not a pet to take to a park or sleep with children.He lived to be 21 yrs old and we loved and respected him for who he was.

I am a dog breeder. I am going to expand my operation in order to bring down my costs/selling prices. I believe that every family should should have two dogs, just in case one falls asleep. While I agree with the point that a bad owner makes a bad dog…Im sorry but Ive seen bad dog owners in my life who owned hound dogs…who physically abused the dogs….and only on two occasions have I seen it result in absolutely vicious dogs that werent pits.
Pit bulls, on the other hand, have shown themselves over the last couple decades as more and more families have been buying them and loving the hell out of them…to turn even on their owners and their children entirely unprovoked…and when THIS breed does attack, like my beloved Rottwieler breed, they do MASSIVE amounts of damage because…like it or not…the BREED itself is FAR more vicious than many other..the FACT that it locks down and refuses to let go and goes for the throat as much as possible is PROOF of this fact.

Phobias are a mental condition. If you and your wife wanted to get over them, you could have.
Muslim hatred of dogs is not a phobia, it’s just part of what makes muslims evil. So one less muslim semen donor is a good thing.

“ExcaliburXX” apparently thought that a Staffordshire bull-terrier is virtually the same as a pit-bull terrier – which most certainly is not the case!!!
Yes, they ARE related; however, they still are NOT one and the same.
Furthermore, the decisive factor in regards to whether a pit-bull terrier can successfully become a family dog seems to be related to if it has tasted blood of any animal other than itself in puppy-hood (notably in fights). If it has, the odds of it fitting into a family without problems go down considerably as its combative and killer instincts will have been aroused.
That’s what I happen to know (and yours truly will be the first to admit his lack of expertise); however, if such a state of affairs is avoided at least for the animal’s first several months of life AND it’s not abused, the odds of it becoming a good pet stay very high. Not for nothing that people swear by the pit bull: that said, it’s important that it be well socialised with humans during that whole time, in addition to its having positive socialisation with fellow dogs. Virtually any dog can be salvaged from the effects of its lineage if caught and trained well in time.
Thus, “ExcaliburXX” needs to do some research upon dog breeds and behaviours – AND he (plus his wife) need to be able to project an attitude of love and gentleness upon meeting any dog. Dogs react to fear just as humans do (as others have pointed out!); and turning to firearms should be only a last resort!!!
Last week, I was doing some work in a pet shop for an auctionneer. Keeping the animals healthy. A guy walks in with this huge pitbull. I had a Great Dane loose in the store for exercise. The Great Dane approached the pitbull and they smelt each other. That was it.
I have two friends that own pitbulls. They are very friendly dogs. Depends on how they were raised and the lineage of the dog. The same as humans.
Pitbulls have a distinct advantage. People are naturally afraid of them and that is a good thing. They command respect.
I was attacked by dogs three times in my life. Once by a doberman who jumped a six-foot fence to get at me. Lucky I had an umbrella.
The first attack happened in Providence, Rhode Island. It was a German Shephard. He tore the clothes of the girl I was with at her waist. My last experience was a Hell’s Angels’ German shephard. His master had kissed my poodle. What a mistake that was! Instinct is a wonderful thing. I felt it coming at me from behind while I was walking my dog. I grabbed my poodle at ran in the middle of the incoming traffic to save my life.
All dogs will attack if provoked somehow. No human enjoys having a hand slammed into its face. Most attacks occur because parents don’t supervise their kids when dogs are around.
There are a few dog species that could kill you but they all have their reasons: mostly rothweilers and pitbulls.

NO!!! Not all dogs are threats if off the leash, and I know that for a fact on the basis of my experience with my pet bitch (Border-Collie plus German-Shepherd)!!!
Yes, she can seem like one to somebody who’s afraid and ignorant of dogs to begin with, but a few words of reassurance and those people would be fine with her and she with them. Even my brother, who has had a phobia of dogs, finally came to accept and even care for her!!! [Her somewhat-unusually-small size has helped in this matter.]
Otherwise, MANY years ago I could have shared “ExcaliburXX”‘s fears – 20+ years ago there was an incident where a pure-bred German Shepherd did make me afraid and I had to be prepared to use a ski-pole (yours truly was cross-country skiing) to fend it off, even to poke it in the eye (sad to say: it was acting aggressive!). However, when my pet bitch came into my life a little over 14 years ago (at that time she was 4-5 weeks old) and my heart melted, yours truly has subsequently had much better experiences with dogs of all sorts!!!! Apparently they could sense that I wasn’t afraid of them or ill-disposed towards them any more.
This is what I’d urge “ExcaliburXX” to do, if he and his wife can do so: when they can spend time with puppies (particularly, as those are so innocent then and extra-loving) – ideally under supervision at the outset, but if they’re prepared to be kindly, they’ll soon no longer need being under observation!) and then progress with adult dogs, they’ll shake that phobia off very quickly!!!!
Again, dogs will feel if your attitude is positive and welcoming to them; and then they’ll “embrace” and love you right back!!!! “ExcaliburXX”, PLEASE TRY IT – you’ll be surprised at the results!!!

To date, three kids have been involved as chocolate is the ‘delivery vehicle’ of choice, laced with mouse-poison, something that triggers massive internal bleeding.

I knew a pitbull breeder about 20 years ago. His female was named ‘Jaws’. She had a litter of puppies and they were in a box. At 3-weeks old, there was already blood in the box.
Following this post, I have a feeling that pitbulls will increase in popularity.
