Someone needs to inform that abusive parent that in America, or any civilised country, she does NOT have the “right” to assault anyone, least of all one of her kids.
I really hope this case doesn’t get wishy-washed away because a clear and consistent message NEEDS to be sent to musims in our countries that we in the West value children and we will NOT tolerate them being assaulted for ANY reason.

OMG I made the mistake of slapping my 12 year old son for his refusal to come home when the sun went down I was tied up in court for over a year.
