Aaron Klein of KleinONLINE and WABC-Radio played this audio of Ahmed trying to book a reservation with Linda from Delta Airlines to the Occupied Palestinian Territories. Hilarity ensues.

I listened to it and I’m totally flabbergasted! I do not even know what to say…wow!
This destination description by Delta Airlines is a textbook case of pandering.
The Communists said the Capitalists would sell them the rope they would hang us with, meaning that our greatest weakness was the profit motive as an end in itself, unguided by higher moral principles.
And this is, in fact, what we’re seeing all over the West: Corporations are selling our culture out to any enemy in order to make money in the short term. They don’t give a damn what happens later as a result of their selfish conduct.
Between the Marxists and the CWAC’s (Capitalism Without A Conscience) we are totally screwed.
If Delta is that clueless about what is on their web site, I for one will be looking for a different airline.
Not that I every thought their service was that hot anyway.

DAMN! BNI, my husband is in the US at this moment. He’s in NY for a few more days, then he’s on to LA before home. He went Delta. D’oh!!
SAX, Delta has had some disturbing policies in the past few years. One was for the military troops whom they were flying back to the States from Iraq.They wouldn’t let them on the plane without paying overweight charges (around $200/each) for their luggage, a lot of which held military equipment. After it caused a huge uproar, Delta refunded the extra fees.
Then a year or so ago, they announced they were going to have flights to Saudi Arabia, but would not let people with Israeli stamps in their passports or with Jewish sounding names board those flights (with the excuse that the Saudis won’t let them in their country). I think they changed that policy, too, due to all the negative PR they got over it.
Delta was cheaper than Qantas and he’s a penny pincher! I’m going to tell him he flew with Air Dhimmi!
