The Afghan government said that police had rescued 41 children from becoming suicide bombers as they were about to be smuggled across the mountains into Pakistan.
News24 Interior ministry spokesperson Sediq Sediqqi told a news conference that the children aged six to 11 had been released on February 15 from the clutches of four insurgents in eastern Kunar province.
He told AFP their families “were fooled by terrorists”, who promised to send them to seminaries in Pakistan where they would be “brainwashed” and “prepared for suicide bombings against Afghan and international troops in Afghanistan”. Police arrested the four suspects and the children were returned to their families, the spokesperson said.
The Afghan government has accused madrassas in Pakistan of teaching violent extremism and sponsoring Islamist violence, a legacy of Afghanistan’s 1979-89 US and Pakistani-sponsored mujahideen uprising against Soviet troops.
On February 12, Afghan authorities announced that two 10 year-old would-be suicide bombers were arrested in Afghanistan allegedly planning to attack Afghan and international forces in the southern province of Kandahar, the Taliban’s birthplace. They had been reportedly released last August, along with 18 other children, after receiving a pardon from Afghan President Hamid Karzai.
In 2009 the Taliban started buying up children for suicide bombings.
In 2007 the Taliban told a 6-year-old street child to go “spray flowers” on the Americans.
The Taliban, which is leading a 10-year insurgency against Karzai’s government and 130 000 US-led foreign troops, have reportedly used children and teenagers to conduct attacks on security forces.

I believe there are levels to Hell. To be very clear, I believe in a literal Hell fire. And I believe those “recruiting” innocent children for suicide bombing will burn in some of the hottest flames. (Yeah, I know, tell us how you REALLY feel).

Nafi’ said, “I told this story to Umar, who was caliph at the time, and he said, ‘Fifteen is the boundary between boyhood and manhood.’ He then wrote his governors telling them to pay salaries to jihadists when they reach fifteen.” and:
hadith Bukhari, vol. 4, book 52, no. 43 – Aisha said, “Mohammed, women believe that jihad is the most righteous act. Shouldn’t women fight in jihad?” Mohammed replied, “Hajj, in the tradition of Mohammed, is the best act that a woman can perform. It is acceptable to Allah.”
Remove these two weapons delivery systems and Muslim jihadists would be far less eager to promote suicide bombing.
If you kill them; usher them into Hell, they will shed no more blood.

Nothing less will end the bloodshed. One, the other or some combination thereof; nothing less.
The cited ahadith do not apply when Dar al-Islam is invaded, they only apply when Muslims are invading Dar al-Harb. Jihad becomes fard ayn and general mobilization is required, including sheikhs, women and children when Isdamn is under attack.

I dont think these children and their families were “fooled”. They all knew exactly what they were doing, we need to stop believing their kids are like our kids.
At 6 years old our kids want to be superheroes like their cartoons and comics. So do these kids, BUT their heroes are suicide bombers. Their families raise them to be so. Just go into youtube and see the toddlers reciting the quran and saying that jewish are worst than pigs. We shouldnt be saving their next generation because they are our future jihadists.
