Paedophile Daniel Galvan Vina has been arrested upon returning to Spain after being pardoned in Morocco where he was serving a 30-year-sentence for child rape and abuse.
King Juan Carlos requested the release of 48 Spanish convicts when he visited Morocco last month. Galvan who was one of them had served two years of his prison term for raping and filming at least 11 children aged four to 15. King Mohamed VI has since said he did not know the gravity of the crimes when the pardon was issued. Galvan will be taken to Madrid where one of the country’s top courts will deal with the controversy which began when he was granted a royal pardon.
