Ten young children who were pulled out of a school trip to a mosque by their parents have been publicly humiliated by their school in Cornwall. The children, aged between eight and 11, were singled out in assembly and made to answer questions about their planned non-attendance.
Breitbart Junior school children from Lostwithiel School in Cornwall are due to visit Exeter mosque, Devon in May as part of their Religious Studies lessons. The rural school has just 156 pupils on its books, nearly 100 of whom, aged between eight and 11, are expected to be taking part. The school says the aim of the outing is to teach children that jihadist groups such as ISIS are not a true reflection of Islam.
But the parents of 10 children refused permission for their youngsters to take part in the trip due to safety concerns, citing fears over Islamic terrorism. They reacted furiously to the news that their children had been made to publicly answer questions about their non-attendance, pointing out that it was not the decision of the children involved.
One parent, who asked not to be named, told the Daily Mail “We have grave concerns about the childrens’ safety during the trip due to the horrific events that occur every day. We have therefore decided not to send our children on this trip. This decision is not one based on ignorance or racial or religious beliefs, but one based purely on safety concerns.
Sally Cox, 39, a self-employed cleaner from Lerryn, Cornwall, has also blocked her son Jed Pearce, 10, from going on the visit. She said: ‘I did not want him to go because they are a violent religion and many of them have guns. ‘You can see what they are like every day on the news. There was a Muslim bomber in Exeter just a few years ago. ‘We were just being honest saying we did not want them to go. ‘It is unsafe. I don’t want my son being shot. Also this is not a religious school yet they are willing to take a whole day out for religion.
This kind of thing goes on all the time in Islamic Britain:
“They were made to stand up after assembly. The sitting non-attendees were then asked individually why they were not going on the trip. This is not a decision the children have made, so discriminating against these children in this fashion is disgraceful, unacceptable and unprofessional.”
However, the Chairman of Governors of Lostwithiel School, Kat Smith, was unapologetic. She insisted that the school had a duty under the Equalities Act 2010 to promote different faiths and ethnicities.
“This is the first time pupils from the school have visited a mosque and it’s an exciting opportunity for them to learn about different faiths and ensure that they’re aware of the diverse nature of modern Britain,” she said.
“Because of recent news reports about extremist groups, such as ISIS, that identify themselves with Islam, a small number of parents have expressed concerns about the trip and the teaching of Islam in school.
“In response, the school held a special assembly with children to discuss these issues, and the head teacher has met and sent letters to parents with specific concerns.”
She insisted that the trip was safe for the children to take part in, and that, coming from a provincial area such as Cornwall, it was imperative that children be introduced to other faiths and cultures. And she explained that children should be taught that ISIS is not “a true reflection of Islam”.
“A full risk assessment has been conducted for the trip and there is no more risk attached to this trip than any other school trip,” she said.
“Religious Education forms part of the basic curriculum in schools and its teaching is enshrined in law. The school recognises that parents have the right to withdraw their child from RE in whole or in part, and provide alternative work to further their child’s knowledge and understanding of the parents’ beliefs and values.
“However, the school is aware that children growing up in Cornwall may have little contact with Muslims and it is aware that it has a duty under the Equality Act 2010 to promote good relations between people of different beliefs and ethnicities as part of its single equality duty.
“The Governing Body fully supports this trip and the teaching of RE, including Islam. It is the governors’ hope that the visit to the Mosque will provide an insight for pupils into the nature of British Islam, help them understand how Islam is presented in the media and that groups like ISIS are not a true reflection of the Islam followed by the vast majority of Muslims in Britain.”
The school’s headteacher Carolyn Huxley said that the trip would still go ahead and reiterated the need to teach children that jihadist groups such as ISIS are not a true reflection of Islam.
“Our hope from the visit to the mosque is that children will be given a view as to what are the values and beliefs of a ‘British Muslim’”, she said. “This trip will show the children the views of extremists are not a true reflection of Islam as a religion.”

The problem with this is that so much is left out on these brainwashing & propaganda tours. What they won’t tell these kids is that mosques are also political centers. This is too much for me. I am writing letters to the schools above. Very stern letters and straight to the point. It will make them aware the whole world is watching as well. I write quite a few letters and send them flying all around the world. Sent some to American schools and dumb pastors etc.

I used to live in Cornwall. There is a saying there… Cornwall: Where the men are men and the sheep are scared. We also called it Corntucky. Very backward people there. Very rude too. I had to go to the headmaster a few times like when they were peddling porn as “sex education” with full frontal live nudity included. They also could not comprehend that I was a single (adoptive) parent and insisted on knowing where the father was. ALL those involved in the deliberate (Kafkaesque?) public shaming of CHILDREN should be heavily fined, a scathing letter of reprimand placed on their records, and they should be made to give a public apology at every morning assembly for a week, as well as a real public apology wherever there is a suitable large crowd like a soccer match. The GUILTY parties should also appear on local (or even national) TV and radio shows to explain just how Gestapo-like they behaved, why they did it and why they were so wrong, as well as apologizing.

I read this earlier – the way these children were treated, because of their parents’ decision, is disgusting. Why should we have to justify not wanting our kids Visiting a mosque? In used to teach in a Department of Religious Studies in a British University (I taught Arabic and Islamic Studies). Although I have grave reservations about Islam, I cannot agree with parents who refuse to let their children take part in educationally valid trips to mosques (or Hindu temples or synagogues or Sikh Gudwaras). Asking children to put on headscarves is inappropiate and I would support refusal to wear one, on the grounds that it imposes something on little girls that is sexualizing and unequal. But seeing how Muslims pray or finding about the Qur’an or understanfin how Muslims dreess etc. is a vital part of education in a multi-cultural society. I don’t like multi-culturalism, but it’s real and it’s out there, and we have no right to keep our children in ignorance of things they will encounter in adult life.

I will be blunt……..How can anyone in their right mind, support in any way or fashion a religion that promotes hatred and violence towards non believers? That says to kill unbelievers who refuse to convert is an act that is pleasing to god? That to die while killing non believers is a ticket to paradise?
And who hold as an example to be avidly followed , a man like Muhammed who did the horrifying things that he said and did , like asking for assasians to murder people who disbelieved in his religion, who laughed at him and wrote poems deriding him?
A man who attacked and killed people dor no reason other than he wanted their property and their women and children as slaves?
I could go on and on listing all,the horrible and violent acts Islam tells its followers to do you should know this as well as I do. How can say its a good idea to,have children visit a mosque? What posible educational value is there in such a trip? If there is to be religious studies, the truth must be told about Islam and what ist followers believe and do as a result of those beliefs. Other religions maybhave ciolence in their holy texts but they dont tell their followers to go and commit acts of violence on non believers, of people of other religions, or force them to convert or be killed.

A very good point. Perhaps some of the muslim students should be invited to take communion, or participate in any other number of Christian religious traditions, as part of a Christian religious “field trip”. I can only imagine the howling from the muzrats, but hey, fair is fair, right?

The parents in question should now ask for the dismissal of all teaching staff involved, they won’t get it but it will be on record.

Teachers are collaborators, I was a teacher, 90% are Islamophiles, the other 10% are spineless cretins who would go along with anything as long
as their paychecks keep rolling in. The other alternative i.e. private tutoring, teachers will not entertain, as it means taking a cut in their pay, so they pander to Islam and whatever the hell they are told to.
Get a clue yourself, teachers are not there to educate your children but indoctrinate them in homosexuality, feminism, Islam, black power etc etc.
Parents who send their children to state schools to be ‘educated’ are asking for it, teachers who still work in the state system are prostitutes for Muslims and are at the very heart of paving the way for Islam.
