Come on down, you filthy kuffar (unbelievers)! All the barbarically-slaughtered halal snacks you can stomach with a little Islamic prayer and propaganda thrown in. The Caliph of Janesville’s first mosque on West Van Buren Street is inviting you to an open house beginning at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28th.
Gazette Extra “We plan to share a short discourse on the topic ‘Spirituality Counteracting Social Injustice,’” said Salih Erschen, founder of the Muslim Dawah Circle. (Social injustice? You mean like Muslims not getting adequate religious accommodation in public schools or enough free halal food banks?)
Halal snacks will precede sunset prayer at the mosque, located at 407 W. Van Buren St. in the heart of the city’s Fourth Ward. Erschen and his wife, Yasmin Mohamud, closed on the purchase of the building earlier this summer. They want the mosque to be a gathering center for community outreach.
They also want it to be a place where people can bring questions about Islam, especially after incidents such as the massacre of five U.S. servicemen by a devout Muslim in Tennessee.
“The Chattanooga event is another American tragedy (not a tragedy, a terrorist act, a MUSLIM terrorist act) that unfortunately involves a man with a Muslim name,” Erschen said. (NO, not just a man with a Muslim name, a faithful Muslim practicing what Islam preaches)
