UK Daily Mail (h/t Maria J) Six more people were injured in the incident in Alcanar, Catalonia, which saw a house completely destroyed. The area, which is 120 miles south of Barcelona, is popular with tourists and foreigners were believed to be among those injured, Spanish media reported.
Documents found by police among the rubble have made it possible to establish the link, local media reported. Neighbors at the sight of Wednesday’s explosion maintain the house was inhabited by two brothers of Maghreb (Islamic) origin. (Maghreb is the Arabic name for the Northwest part of Africa, generally including the Muslim nations of Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, and sometimes Libya)
