Parsons Green Station AGAIN? One man dead and 2 injured in southwest London multiple stabbing attack. Attacker as yet unidentified, but police are sure it isn’t “terror-related.” Sounds of a girl screaming and crying were piercing.
UK Express The attack happened at about 7.35pm, towards the end of the usual rush hour commute. Three victims, all men, were being treated by paramedics at the scene. It has been reported that one of the men has since died. The conditions of the other two men are not known.
Parsons Green station and the surrounding area have been closed while police investigate the stabbing. One witness, Edward Carey, tweeted a picture of the aftermath and said: “Triple stabbing at #parsonsgreen swarming with police, all roads around station blocked.”
A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman told Express.co.uk the attack was NOT being treated as terror related. So far, no arrests have been made.
The stabbing comes just a month after 30 people were injured when a bomb partially detonated inside a packed District Line train at the same station on September 15. Ahmed Hassan Mohammed Ali, 18, an Iraqi Muslim has been charged with attempted murder and using the chemical compound TATP to cause an explosion that was likely to endanger life.
