Little warrior elves have been hard at work trying to disguise the fact that major European cities now look like World War II-era armed camps, thanks to the ever-increasing barrage of Muslim truck-jihad terrorist attacks on innocent civilians in the past few years. In addition to having heavily-armed military personnel with automatic rifles on every corner in busy tourist destinations, now we have concrete anti-terror bollards wrapped up as Christmas presents under the tree. Feeling safer, yet?
BBC The UK’s City of Culture 2017 now has the concrete barriers around Queen Victoria Square wrapped in the style of Christmas presents and topped with the addition of a tree. The large concrete blocks designed to stop terrorists in their tracks are now part of Hull’s Christmas decorations.
A spokesperson for Hull City Council said: “We’re delighted people are enjoying the changes we’ve made. They are all part of getting everyone into a festive mood ahead of Christmas celebrations.”
Gee, I wonder how they will decorate the barriers for Ramadan?
