UK Labour party condemns Tory (Conservative) party’s anti-mosque leaflet

A contentious leaflet, distributed by the Conservative Party highlighted the controversial issue of the Dudley Mosque, which was rejected by the High Court last month and suggested that the Labour Party would be in favor of it, if elected.

Dudley News  In his winner’s speech, new councillor for Gornal, Dave Branwood, condemned the election literature, saying: “The Tory party should be ashamed and embarrassed about it.” (But everyone already knows Labour is in favor of building as many mosques as possible. Labour are the ones who should be embarrassed)

While Shaukat Ali, the new Deputy Leader of the Council, compared the Conservative Party to the EDL and BNP in his speech, saying: “It is a real sad state of affairs when you get a major party stoop so low by putting all these leaflets out, showing their desperation. We need to work together to promote Dudley as a borough.”

Unfortunately, though UK Conservatives talk a good game, few of their promises ever come to fruition, especially regarding all their proposed policies on Muslim immigration. These posters were from the 2010 David Cameron campaign:

Bottles, fireworks and smoke bombs were set off as 1,500 officers tried to contain pro-Muslim fascists who came out to counter protest thousands of English Defence League supporters holding a demonstration against Islamization in Luton today. Police were on duty to make sure EDL demonstrators did not enter the Bury Park area of Luton, where most of the town’s 30,000 Muslim population live. They also were there to prevent any Muslims attacking the EDL.

Daily Mail  The town centre was flooded with police as tensions mounted that the right wing organisation’s members might clash with a counter demonstration by a 1,000-strong group from Unite Against Fascism at the same time in the usually busy shopping area. Two people were arrested on suspicion of public order offences, police said.

Bedfordshire Police said the day of action had concluded peacefully, despite ‘isolated incidents’ of disorder including smoke flares being set off and bottles being thrown towards police officers.

A police spokeswoman said a group of people from the counter protest, which formed under the ‘We Are Luton’ banner, had attempted to break away from the main march but were pushed back by officers.Assistant Chief Constable Andrew Richer said: ‘Overall the policing of these protests has been a resounding success and is testament to everyone involved including the community themselves and our partners.

‘It is disappointing that we saw disorder from some members of Unite Against Fascism, who were part of the ‘We Are Luton’ march, who attempted to break out of the agreed protest route.

‘I was very disappointed that the EDL chose to come to Luton again today so soon after their previous protest in February last year which caused large scale disruption to the people of the town and loss of trade for its businesses.

‘I would like to stress that what happened in town today does not represent the real Luton. The Luton I know is a town where people get along well together, celebrate our diversity and work together to overcome challenges.’ (CRAP. The EDL has held demonstrations across the country since it was formed in Luton in March 2009 as a response to Muslim radicals, who disrupted a home-coming parade by the Royal Anglian Regiment.

A candidate for UKIP has compared Islam’s holiest book to Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf. Academic Julia Gasper, a former Westminster hopeful and current council candidate in Oxford, said the Quran was ‘fascist’ and compared those who defend Islam to holocaust deniers.

Political Scrapbook  In emails seen by Scrapbook, Gasper ranted:

“Why is it any more wrong to assert that the Quran is a fascist book than to assert that Mein Kampf is a fascist book? The Quran is a lot more explicit in advocating hate and murder than Mein Kampf is.”

Having dismissed comparisons between sections of the Quran and the Old Testament as “not valid”, Gasper responded to suggestions that her hateful bile was demonizing Muslims (that’s the idea!):

“Words like “demonization” are just self-deception. They are being used to persuade you to keep your eyes shut. In fact, the apologists for Islam are really very similar to Holocaust deniers.”

To compound matters, the rant comes to light as another UKIP candidate is suspended for expressing sympathies with Norwegian mass-murder Anders Breivik – and just days after Julia Gasper herself was slammed for saying gays should stop ‘complaining about persecution’ and start thanking straight people for giving birth to them.

Interviewer Jemima Khan also exclusively reveals the background to Galloway’s conversion to Islam:

George Galloway, MP for Bradford West, is a Muslim. He converted more than ten years ago in a ceremony at a hotel in Kilburn, north-west London, attended by members of the Muslim Association of Great Britain. Those close to him know this. The rest of the world, including his Muslim constituents, does not.  

Over a halal, alcohol-free lunch at a cafe on Bradford’s main high street, Khan tells Galloway: “I know someone who attended your shahadah [the Muslim conversion ceremony].”  

He stares at me across the table, penetrating blue eyes squinted, pausing for the first time in an hour. His special adviser, a glossy-haired Asian Pakistani called Ayesha, looks into her daal while his new bride, Gayatri Pertiwi – a Dutch-born Muslim of Indonesian descent 30 years his junior, seated beside him throughout the interview – smiles at me. 

George and Gayatri performed the nikah, the Muslim marriage ceremony, four weeks ago at the Royal Theatre in Amsterdam, the day after his sensational and unexpected victory in Bradford. This means, presumably, that they are unmarried under British law. Galloway has had two previous Muslim marriages (and this marriage to Gayatri is his fourth marriage in total). However, a Muslim woman is not permitted to marry a non-Muslim man under Islamic law – although the other way round is allowed.

There must have been some white constituents in Bradford, who, although natural Labour supporters, preferred to vote for the white Catholic candidate rather than the brown Muslim one representing Labour. Meanwhile, his Muslim constituents delighted in the hints – “a Muslim is somebody who is not afraid of earthly power but who fears only the Judgement Day. I’m ready for that, I’m working for that and it’s the only thing I fear.” Many favoured a possible or a potential Muslim over a “lapsed” one, such as Labour’s Hussain, who, Galloway claimed in his campaign, was “never out of the pub.”

Galloway released a statement today about this interview in the New Statesman where he says: Jemima Khan’s claim in New Statesman article that Galloway converted in north London 10 years ago is ‘categorically untrue’

 The New Statesman responds:

“It is notable that Galloway does not deny being a Muslim convert – and he did not deny it when it was put to him at the time of the interview, which is on tape. Contrary to his press release, nor did he deny that the ceremony took place when it was put to him during the interview. This is also on tape. Furthermore, he failed to clarify how, by his own admission,  he had a ‘nikah’ (a Muslim marriage ceremony), despite the fact that a non-Muslim man cannot marry a Muslim woman under Islamic law. As for calling his ‘secretary’ his ‘special adviser’, this is how she asked to be described in an email to Jemima Khan.

Pro-Islam Left Wing Extremist Group hoping Norway’s mass murderer, Anders Breivik, will inspire copycat killings in Europe and the U.S.

They call themselves ‘Hope not Hate,’ and claim to be anti-fascists so they can divert attention away from the real fascists/terrorists – Muslims – and turn up the heat on the Counter Jihadists, whom they claim inspired Anders Breivik.

RT  Counter-Jihad movements that inspired Anders Breivik’s Norway massacre are growing in influence in the US and Europe: a recent Counter Jihad report by UK left wing activist group Hope not Hate has mapped their spread, and the links between them.

The document identifies 300 organizations and individuals who use anti-Islam rhetoric to draw in supporters and voters. It highlights the UK as a hotspot for such groups, citing a total of 22 anti-Islamic groups currently operating in the country, naming the Luton-based English Defense League (EDL) as one of the most influential. The report also looks at the US, highlighting a network of 47 anti-Islamic organizations that spread “negative perceptions of Islam, Muslim minorities and Islamic culture.”

The Scandalous Lies of ‘Hope not Hate’

CounterJihad Report  The Hope not Hate list reads, in large part, like an honor roll of courageous truth-tellers.  In the U.S., people like David Horowitz, Daniel Pipes, Ibn Warraq, Mark Steyn, Robert Spencer, and Andrew McCarthy.  In Canada, Ezra Levant.  In the U.K., Roger Scruton.  In the Netherlands, Geert Wilders.  In Denmark, Lars Hedegaard.  And so on.

But no, this isn’t meant as an honor roll.  It’s a list of individuals – and organizations, too, among them the David Horowitz Freedom Center – that, according to a new “Counter-Jihad Report” by a British group called Hope Not Hate, make up a nefarious network of Islamophobic extremists who inspired the Norwegian mass murderer Anders Behring-Breivik.

Breivik has been a terrific gift to those who, for whatever reason, have long been eager to shift focus away from the danger of Islam and to argue that it’s thecriticism of Islam that’s the real danger.

Over the last decade, as a result of one brutal jihadist atrocity after another – 9/11, Madrid, London, Beslan, Bali, Mumbai, etc., etc. – Islam has been associated in the Western mind with bloodthirsty slaughter.  Then, on July 22 of last year, a single man, acting alone, killed dozens of people,purportedly in the name of anti-jihadism.  His actions provided everyone who’d like to whitewash Islam with an opportunity to associate not Islam, but its critics, with savage violence.

The people at Hope Not Hate didn’t let this opportunity pass them by.  So – voilà, the “Counter-Jihad Report,” the implicit premise of which is that to be opposed to jihad is, by definition, not only a bad but a downright dangerous thing.

Not that the “report” actually addresses the subject of jihad – no, jihad itself is left almost entirely out of the equation.  Indeed, to read this thing, you’d almost think that jihad were some fantasy cooked up by “counter-jihadists” in order to smear Islam.

UK: Five (MUSLIM) men arrested in Luton for planning a terror attack

Gee, I wonder if this was planned to coincide with the upcoming English Defence League’s anti-Islamic extremism march in Luton on May 5th? Naturally the dhimmi media don’t identify them as Muslims, but all the clues tell us they are.

DAILY MAIL (H/T David D)  Five men have been arrested on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism, Scotland Yard said.  Anti-terror police swooped on a series of different addresses before dawn as part of a ‘pre-planned, intelligence-led’ operation.

The men, aged 21, 23, 24, 25 and 30, were all arrested at separate homes in Luton this morning and have been taken to a central London police station for questioning. Searches under the Terrorism Act 2000 are taking place at all five of the addresses and inquiries are ongoing, Scotland Yard said.

(DING! DING! DING!) In the planning of these search warrants, full consideration has been given to treating those arrested and especially their families, with appropriate respect for cultural and religious identity as far as is possible.’ (This confirms they were Muslims)

‘All five were arrested at separate residential addresses in Luton. They have been taken to a central London police station where they remain in custody.

The raids come the same week that mass killer Anders Breivik, on trial for the massacre of 77 people, told a Norwegian court that Muslims want sharia law in ‘places like Luton.’

Bedfordshire Police assisted with the early morning operation, which was led by Scotland Yard’s Counter Terrorism Command. ’No roads have been closed and there is no danger to other nearby residents,’ said a spokesman for Bedfordshire Police.

UK Muslim leaves shoes outside door, then shocked when they’re gone in the morning

Council workers removed the shoes because they were a safety risk to other residents in the event of a fire. Not to mention stinking up the hallway.

DAILY MAIL (H/T Susan K)  Olcay Kurulay thought his two pairs of trainers and work shoes had been stolen when he opened his front door to find them gone from the communal hallway. But the 35-year-old, who keeps his shoes outside for religious reasons, was stunned after a neighbour told him a council housing officer had removed them.

He was even more shocked after he called the local authority and was told the footwear could have presented an obstacle to people in the event of a fire. They then charged him a £25 fee to get his property back.

Hygiene is very important to practicing Muslims who generally take their shoes off when entering mosques and homes to keep the areas clean and as a mark of respect.

Mr Kurulay, a security guard at his local magistrates’ court, had to go to work wearing flip-flops and was told off by my manager for not wearing proper shoes.

Mr Kurulay, who is Turkish but now lives in Bournemouth, Dorset, said: ‘I was ready to go to work and dressed in my uniform and went to put my shoes on and realised they had gone. 

‘I called the council later and was told that you can’t have any items in the communal area in case of a fire. They didn’t think that by taking my shoes that might stop me leaving my flat if there was a fire. (Maybe that was the idea! LOL)

‘The council told me they didn’t have to give me any warning and that it was part of my tenancy agreement not to have any objects blocking the hallway. ’By that I thought they meant an old fridge or bicycle.

‘People are sick outside or spit on the floor and there is also dog mess. We leave shoes because we pray inside.’ (Don’t like it? Go back to Turkey?)

UK SUN  Muslim immigration has changed the face of Britain faster than any major country except Italy, experts said last night. Independent think tank Migration Observatory revealed the damning finding after comparing UK arrival rates with every other rich nation.

The peak of the influx came between 2000 and 2005, when Labour’s open door policy allowed immigrant numbers arriving to shoot up by 22 per cent. The world average was nine per cent and the G8 countries’ 11 per cent.

It meant that the number of foreign-born people in the UK increased from 3.8million in 1993 to 7million in 2010 — or 12 per cent of the population. The number of foreign citizens living here also doubled from under 2million to over 4million. Sir Andrew Green, chairman of pressure group Migration Watch, said: “This underlines the huge impact of Labour’s mass immigration policy.”

Almost half of all Britons are seriously considering moving overseas. Australia is the top choice, followed by the US, Canada, and New Zealand.

UK SUN  (H/T Susan K) Pollsters YouGov quizzed 1,650 adults after The Sun told last week about Dave and Jackie Jones who emigrated to Australia with their 12 kids. The family from Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria — who have never claimed benefits — quit in despair at what they see as soft-touch Britain’s emphasis on state handouts instead of opportunities. Dave, 42, said: “I have to do the best for my kids and I feel the opportunities I want for them will not be in the UK.”

Our poll found that most Britons agree. Three in five think quality of life will be worse for their kids than it has been for them. Just 13 per cent think their children will have it better.

Britain’s countryside would be missed by 25 per cent, the NHS by 19 per cent and TV by ten per cent. Nothing else about life here rated double figures. Only 11 per cent of us said there was nothing that could make them want to leave the UK.

When asked under what circumstances people should be allowed to move to Britain, 50 per cent say people should sometimes be allowed to come here to find work. But 38 per cent said this should never be allowed. Most agreed that people should be able to come to Britain to study at a university.

The poll also found that most important aspects of life in Britain have worsened over the last 20 years. Manners and politeness were mentioned by 83 per cent, the economy by 81 per cent, crime 68 per cent and education 55 per cent.

YouGov asked whether the last five PMs going back to Margaret Thatcher had made the country better or worse. All were deemed to have done more damage than good — with Gordon Brown and David Cameron doing especially badly.

The Sun told how hard-working Dave Jones — who earned £38,000-a-year doing night shifts at a paper mill — and Jackie, 43, left the country with their brood last Saturday.

Six per cent of those polled are actively making plans to leave, and 42 per cent say they will seriously consider it. The cost of living was named by 52 per cent as a good reason for leaving. The weather scored 37 per cent, job availability 31 per cent and crime 27 per cent.

In an exclusive interview her brother Zakaria Al-Sadah said: “We would definitely like to live in the UK — we have nothing against the UK or its people. Amal would migrate there if given a chance. “She loves humanity and likes to live in a liberal environment. She is not an extremist. (Thats right, she only had a burning desire to marry an extremist and martyr herself with him)

She says: “I believe the UK people and the government are more polite and friendly than US people. I am sure they believe in peace more than military actions. I would love to meet the UK Royal Family.

“They have a huge attraction and they always work for peace. Britain’s elected government is a little inclined to the US but the Royal Family is always doing good works.” She revealed she had five children with Bin Laden while on the run after 9/11.

AMAZING! Britain grows a pair and will deport Muslim terrorist Abu Qatada

MUSLIM hate preacher and welfare entitlement whore, Abu Qatada, has been arrested and advised that the Home Office fully intends to support his deportation to Jordan despite the court of Human Rights ruling in January that this would not happen due to possible information being gained under torture methods. 

BBC  Edward Fitzgerald QC, representing Abu Qatada, earlier told a Special Immigration Appeals Commission (SIAC) hearing the cleric would seek to revoke any deportation order and appeal if unsuccessful. A Downing Street spokeswoman said the prime minister was confident Abu Qatada would eventually be deported even if there were an appeal process taking “many months”.

The European Court of Human Rights blocked his deportation to Jordan in January, saying evidence obtained by torture might be used against him.
