The United States of America Defence League (USADL) is pleased to announce the premier of its organizational website. The site is open to members for registration and non-members, for viewing. Please direct all media requests through the website media contact form.

Who is the USADL? The USADL is made up of volunteers from around the country who recognize the threat that Sharia Law poses to free people everywhere. These volunteers are the backbone of the crusade against Sharia Law.
Why keep Sharia Law out of the United States? Sharia law is not compatible with the Constitution and the American justice system. Although CAIR and a host of Islamic apologists will vehemently scream otherwise, Sharia Law is a 7th century system of governance for life, that is not only barbaric, demeaning to women and condones physical and verbal abuse of others. Under Sharia Law, one must either convert to Islam, become a slave (paying a heavy tax) or die. None of these options are viable in a free society, which is why Islam is seeking to subvert western civilization. They call us “Islamaphobes”. But, it isn’t a phobia if they are really trying to kill you.
As part of the significant growth the USADL has experienced, National Director, Bill Turner, is pleased to announce the promotion of the Texas State Director, Karen Egan, to the position of Assistant National Director. Karen has completed and is working on special projects that have elevated her position within the USADL.

Why the USADL?
The United States of Americais at a turning point in history. Aside from President Obama seeking to make Americainto a Marxist playground, the forces of Islam have declared war upon all of western civilization and Americaspecifically. Aside from the actual physical attacks upon America, such as the attacks on 9/11, the WorldTradeCenterbombing, the Oklahoma City bombing and subsequent other attacks that have failed, the Muslim Brotherhood and all of Islam actively seek to create a global caliphate.
Creeping Sharia, it is everywhere and it is nowhere. In our schools, the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), an unindicted terror co-conspirator, presents materials for students to use, to learn about Islam. Except the materials are not accurate and do not tell the truth about Islam. CAIR influences counter terrorism training for the FBI, including directing Homeland Security to recently remove almost eight hundred pages from a training manual, because it is offensive to Islam. Why is it offensive? Because it tells the truth about our enemy, in their words, from their holy books.

Ellen, they are using the same spelling as the English Defence League with whom they are in solidarity as the EDL started this movement. I see it as a sign of respect.
If you are here to promote the USDL, don’t bother. I will support them too, if they ever get around to do anything useful, other than just bragging that they are recognized by the EDL.

The spelling of “defence” may be a sign of respect, but if someone is trying to franchise in America that spelling will never work.

First off,it does not matter what you call yourselves !! If you have two groups,so what in the UK we have EDL,Infidels,Casuals United and the SDL but we all support each other in every way we can.
As for endorsement by the EDL,im sure that most anti jihad groups in the world would get that as long as that group is not racist,fascist or opposed to people of other faiths except Islam.
These groups need to get together and start to save your country from this Islamic threat.

Unity of purpose is the common denominator. Different paths to the same goal.
A world wide defense league, made up of the English Defense league,the USA defense league, the North American defense league and so on would be best. We could have an overall leadership group, called the World Wide Defense League at the top of the triangle, with all of the continental defense leagues, such as the North American defense league, then the country defense leagues, such as Englands, the US and so on, all working together, sharing ideas and so on. We do have a common enemy that will pull us together for our own survival, in the form of sharia law, islamic jihad, muslim domination, the world wide calephate and so on. Together we can save the world from islamic jihad.
Before I join any group, I want to know if these separate groups will unite. Having joined many political groups in the past, we are way too splintered and disorganized. I and many I know, would be thrilled to have a united front. BNI, please keep us posted.

I wholeheartedly agree that unity needs to be affected in order to be effective and yes, it needs to be an inclusive North American Defence League with Canadians on board since many that comment on this site are Canadians.

Sharia “Law” is religious and as such can not be instituted in the U.S.A. Right?
One would think so, but this has not kept our foolish judges from allowing themselves to be pc’d and/or intimidated into allowing this monstrous ‘law’ into our legal system. Assuming it won’t happen is shortsighted and foolhardy. Better to act, rather than react.

Well, never heard of bill turner so I’m holding out for a while to see what shakes out. The problem the EDL had was that in the beginning they had questionable people in the forefront and it cost them in the process.
Too bad they didn’t make it the North American Defence League and include Canada. That would have made it even more powerful.
Our problem as counter-jihadists is that we are not united under one umbrella group as the muslims are for instance. They have the muslim brotherhood we have nothing. They have been warring & infiltrating for a very long time and we can learn from their craftiness. We must lower ourselves to their level if we wish to win. No “turn the other cheek”, “love thy neighbor”. It isn’t going to work.
We will not win if we do not unite in this fight.

While Islam would be happy to see anti-sharia groups fighting amongst each other, we have an obligation to rise above such petty things and focus on our unified objective, halting the advance of Sharia Law.
The USADL has adopted a community activist approach, with an organizational structure from the bottom up. Our Street Leaders, City Leaders, County Coordinators and State Directors will drive what the national organization does. We exist to help and serve the people in the community. Whereas, in some parts of the country people will be working on getting educational materials favorable to Sharia out of the classroom, because that is what the people at the local level see as a driving need, others will be working to push minaret bans through Planning & Zoning Commissions and still others will be working to push referendums onto the ballot, to create bans against Sharia in their states. The State Directors, Regional Directors, Training Directors, Assistant National Director and myself, will be working to support those at the local level. After all, politics is local. Sharia Law is a system of governance and as such is deserving of being treated like a political entity, not a religion, as so many label Islam.
Each organization in this fight against Sharia Law has their own part to play, based upon their focus and their mission. The USADL supports and stands with those who oppose Sharia Law. However, the USADL, while sharing the common goal of halting Sharia in America and around the globe, has elected to take a community activist approach, not passing directives to local chapters, but instead, existing to help the local chapters in their effort. With our unique approach, we believe there is plenty of room for anyone who seeks to stop the spread of Sharia Law in America. God bless you all.

Absolute truth! We are stronger United then splintered. There can be no “competition”. There is only one goal. This needs to be addressed immediately. One thing certain: Organized response to Sharia Law is timely and necessary.

Linda, well it looks like you might have some competition now. Why are you so invisible? Why have I never gotten any mailings from you? Obviously you know this website. I promote the EDL all the time and would like to promote a similar organization in the USA. But this is the first I have heard of you. There is also an American Defense League that doesn’t have any visibility either. Maybe you should join forces with the USADL?
We have reached out to many and this coming weekend will be with Tom Trento and others in Florida. Vin Ienco has spoken of us, we have a blog talk radio on Sunday’s, have been talked about and mentioned in numerous other blogs so I am very surprised you have not heard of us. Most of the others have reached out to us because they have seen our links or our website.
The EDL has made mention of us numerous times on their facebook page as have several of the divisions. We only started in FEB and have already done 3 events (all in April) and will be heading to Florida.
Thank you for your enthusiastic support of the USADL. Although we are not endorsed or affiliated with the EDL, we do admire and respect their efforts in pushing back against the attacks upon western culture, by Islam and the ever creeping Sharia Law.

We face a global fight, and as such, we should all work together. As you well know, the stated goal of Islam is a global caliphate. Too that end, Sharia Law is the system of governance that ensures all will submit to Islam, convert to Islam, or die…none of those options are appealing to those who value liberty and life. This is not a culture war, as some people would have us think, this is war. Those who hate us, seek to destroy us. Sagging pants is a culture war, no actual violence is involved. However, Islam hides behind the cloak of religious freedom and dupes the unwitting and unwilling, into helping them spread their lies and false philosopy. The USADL says “No more!” We will stand with the EDL, or any other organization that seeks to halt the spread of Sharia Law, through activism. I agree BNI- 100% – I have to ask though why Bill Turner created another similar defence league when a simple google search would have thrown up the current USDL?
Why did Bill not join the already established USDL rather than creating a very similar group? Surely this dilutes the manpower?
Anyway – we need as many counter-jihad groups as possible to raise awareness of the islamic problem.
Long live the USADL and the USDL and the ADL. Only one group has EDL affiliation it is the USDL – it doesnt matter that the other groups dont but it would be a real help if they were all in the same team. How this happens is a different matter.

Fact is we Americans need to have our own brand with American English on it and not the Queen’s English to be taken seriously! Also, how about a Patriot with the American flag instead of a Templar Knight? Heraldry has a history with the English but not with Americans!
What about nonChristian members? We need to not be so Christian focused over here with a red cross, etc! The American flag or the US Constitution is something we can all group around as a symbol!
I like the concept and want to be helpful! I have many years of marketing experience and political consulting experience.
I propose a greater, global organization like the World Anti-Communist League was supposed to be. We need the World Anti-Sharia Organization or something like that where anti-Sharia groups can send delegates and have regional meetings around the world.
Truthfully, audio conferencing allows regional groups to meet online and hear each other not to mention video conferencing! There would be logic with the USA cooperating with the British but our group needs to at least have its own brand, language usage, etc. Our international language should be English and French with computer interpretation, it is so easy now!
We could have leading anti-Sharia, elected politicians like Geert Wilders and Marine Le Pen or Rep Peter King of NY address our meetings. We Americans should have regional meetings in each time zone. NYC should get the East Coast meeting with you, Bonnie as well as others alternating. We can host folks like Robert Spencer giving lectures, etc! It really could work if we all would just set aside some ego now and then to work together!
