We are pleased to invite you to the next event of Resistance Republicaine to be held on December 8, to express our commitment to secularism, true secularism in France, for the anniversary of the Act of December 9, 1905.
Republican resistance Secularism is what allows us to live together because it guarantees the freedom to believe or not to believe and practice his religion … in private. Communitarian claims that require consideration and recognition of particular beliefs, special clothing or special dietary requirements should be reserved for privacy inside the house each.
Secularism, in short, is what ensures the freedom to believe and not believe, because it requires religious neutrality in the public space, prohibiting religious speech, any consideration of dogmas and taboos religion in political life. In other words, secularism guarantees the independence of policy prohibiting certain customs, on behalf of their beliefs, that some want to impose on all that the people whether they want it or not. That is why the 1905 law, known as separation of church and state, says that the state recognizes no religion.
He who does not eat pork, will not complain if it is served to him but leave it on his plate and eat only vegetables or eat it at home, it’s simple, right?
One who wants to wear a full face-covering veil to please her God should do it at home or in a mosque, not in public where it is offensive to the eyes and the values attached to a people who have long practiced gender equality. Otherwise, there are plenty of countries where your extraordinary religious needs would be accommodated. NOT in France.
It is to defend our values that we invite you to walk with us Sunday, December 8, at 2PM, in Paris, starting Place Denfert-Rochereau.
However, this secularism is being used as a weapon to threaten Christianity. The Leftists want to replace two Christian/French holidays with a Muslim and a Jewish one. Christmas is increasingly being driven from the public arena by prohibiting trees and decorations said to be offensive to a certain segment of the population (Muslims, of course). The Christmas Market becomes the Winter Market.
Pork sausages are being banned in restaurants, cafes, school districts and even on airplanes (to appease Muslims). Halal meats (barbarically slaughtered by Muslims) are being forced on school students and other public institutions (because Muslims only eat halal). Even alcoholic beverages are being demonized in certain places (because Muslims claim they don’t drink them, but we all know they do in private)
This march to defend French culture and traditions is why we invite you to walk with us Sunday, December 8, at 2PM, in Paris, starting Place Denfert-Rochereau.
