I thought the level of I-can-say-and-do-what-ever-I-want-audacity could go no lower than Hitlary’s “What difference does it make”, BUT Obama’s newest stunt beats Mrs. Clit’s!
Chances are that this exercise was really for a way to release important Taliban operatives like the failed Benghazi fiasco in which Obama planned to have the ambassador captured and then to trade him for the blind sheik that his Muslim Brotherhood had been asking for. If we could only get a Snowden in the White House to reveal the endless plans and shenanigans against America by the Kenyon Muslim.
We need mass arrests for all the individual liars in the state department. I want to see a line of them in shackles led in a public square for all Americans to spit on before they are locked up for good. We need the biggest trial in American history starting with Obama and Clinton and followed by all their puppets. There was a time they would have faced a firing squad.

Ofc she wouldn’t say he deserted his unit and joined up with th enemy. She also failed to mention the Taliban picked these five guys for release. I’d sooner believe his buddies. They risk a lot by lying. But Obama and his minions have no compunction about lying to the American people because they’re never held to account.
None of this makes any sense. There is something definitely fishy going on, but I am not sure who or what to believe.
And what was so important about this guy Bergdahl that the U.S. government and the military spent so much time, effort, money, and human lives to get him back? The U.S. government never spends that kind of time, money, energy, or human resources unless there is something important to either national security, self interest, or economic interest. The U.S. government rarely does anything out of purely altruistic interest.
If he was just a deserter, who converted to Islam and joined up with the Taliban, why didn’t they just order the U.S. military to shoot him on sight? It would have saved a great deal of time and money, not to mention the lives of military personnel that were killed looking for this guy. For some reason, it was more important to get this guy back alive. The U.S. military is never that forgiving. If he really was a deserter that went AWOL, he would have and should have been court martialed, if they just didn’t kill him outright when they found him.
And why did the Taliban, if he was simply a prisoner of war, think he was important enough that they were willing to use him for barter to get some of their people back? They obviously thought he was important enough to keep him alive. If he was a spy for the U.S. government, and they knew about it, they would have just simply killed him, by the usual method of slow decapitation. If he had actually joined them, why would they trade him, since he might be more valuable than even their own guys? After all, he was an American, which might be a great asset, and they could have used him to spy on America. Would Taliban betray one of their own, if Bergdahl was one of their own?
I suppose these of one of these stories that we, the average public, will never know the real story behind it. It will be fifty years from now before the real story comes out as to who and what this guy actually was.

The State Department is without authority to make statements regarding deserters from the U.S. Military. That would be within the purview of the Department of Defense. Who is next to express a totally worthless opinion, the Department of the Interior?

After he made his desertion known by calling his unit WHICH ONLY ENCOURAGED HIS UNIT TO TRY TO FIND HIM THUS KILLING HIS FELLOW SOLDIERS they should have instead courtmartialed him while absent as a traitor and then announced that he was of no value to the USA AND NOT HAVE WASTED ANY TROOPS, ETC LOOKING FOR HIM! Perhaps he was already working for the Taliban and wanted to get US troops searching for him SINCE THEY KNEW HIS UNIT’S LOCATION WHICH GUARANTEED SOME KILLS?
