The fact is that Islam offers an easy narrative for losers to latch onto. That is the problem. And no one speaks out against the problem texts as (like christian fundamentalists and the bible) it is considered god’s word in its’ entirety.
I think religion should be a stage that we pass through and then discard as our own internal morality kicks in and provides a guide in life and society. The decadent west is actually doing it right.
