Elhamy Ibrahim, 62, (below) is a Muslim who does not like very many other Muslims these days, but loves Donald Trump. The Egyptian-born businessman who came to the United States in 1981 and became a citizen two decades later.

Tribune (h/t Mike F) He strongly backs Trump’s proposal to ban Muslims from entering the US until authorities can determine if they pose a threat, even though such a ban could bring hassles for him if he traveled abroad. That is one reason why Ibrahim, who says he does not attend a mosque regularly, approached the real estate mogul after a rally in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and called out “I’m a Muslim and I love you!”
Ibrahim says Trump’s rhetoric, rather than being insensitive and exclusionary, addresses their fears of the violence they see occurring halfway across the globe. “If he stopped me coming into the US, I’d say ‘fine’,” Ibrahim said. “If he said he wanted a loyalty test, I’d be the first to sign it.”
As a university student, Ibrahim was jailed twice by the security services of the late President Anwar Sadat, then drafted to fight in Egypt’s 1973 war against Israel, where he was wounded by an explosion that left him blind in one eye. He said Egyptian security officials ripped his toenails out with pliers.
Despite the torture he suffered, Ibrahim is comfortable with Trump’s call to “bring back waterboarding and much worse” when interrogating terror suspects.
His favorite thing about Trump is his business background. “He’ll bring America back – I want to see America that I used to know, not the one that (President Barack) Obama and (former President) George W Bush destroyed.”
He also wants a president who sees Muslims the way he does. His mother and sister, who grew up wearing high heels and mid-length skirts, began to wear head scarves in the early 1990s to avoid harassment on the streets of Cairo. Egypt became a more conservative place.
“The media there, they make America seem evil,” he said. “They destroy the spirit of the younger generation, they make them stuck in religion like a bunch of sheep in a flock.”

Walid Shoebat, a former muslim turned christian, said the same thing. TRUMP 2016
Walid uses a lot of my posts at his blog. He’s a good friend of mine.
Nice video but for a minute was worried Elhamy might be posing as a supporter in plain view and could later harm or shoot Mr Trump and others. But if BNI think he’s the real deal, then so do I.
Lovely to meet you Elhamy Ibrahim. Hope to see more of you.
I think he’s legit, but I always leave room for being mistaken when it comes to muslims.
Then let Mr. Ibrahim leave Islam and join the human race — he shouldn’t go to a mosque ever. All mosque must be banned.
I keep telling people there are a bunch of MINOs out there who really aren’t so thrilled with all this Islam stuff.
I think the only reasons they don’t renounce Islam is they don’t feel like broaching that issue with their family members and they aren’t really all that excited about any other religion enough to convert to it.
A muslim who assimilated, didn’t want to change America. If the woman next to him, with her hand on his arm, was his wife, she was dressed like an American.
Bill Warner said ” Islam is bad for Kaffir.Islam is bad for muslims>Islam is bad!”
This man may or may not be genuine (I’m no one to judge) but if he was, he would have left Islam long ago and want nothing to do with it. When I first saw this story, the first thing that came to mind was the old saying, “you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar”.
Can’t be trusted
I agree. Especially when in the West. I know ex-Muslims who felt like him when in a Muslim country and left Islam, two from Egypt, eventually escaping to the West. No excuse for this man. He must know Islam so a ” moderate”? But we may have to be content and grateful that there are some like him around, and that he is not devout ? I am never sure
though
it is very refreshing to see that someone cares about national security and it is driving the Leftist nuts
He sounds like someone who has learned the value of freedom the hard way. We need millions more like this man (assuming they exist) to speak out. If the bill to ban the Muslim Brotherhood terrorists passed and the MB-sponsored mosques could be shut down, if the “temporary” ban on Muslim immigration cut down on the refujihadis… but that’s a lot of “ifs”.
He is liar. I am surprised no one knows that.
It is not in the news, but from inside, islam is rotten and very weak. Thousends and thousends are leaving islam on a daily basses. In the Arab countries, many muslims leave the evil in silence.
The veil is just for apperance.
The hardcore Islamist are in the West !
Well educated, they infiltrate the goverment instituions, police, military, media. Mostly born in the West, (arabic muslim background)
Liza, sadly for as many who leave, many more are forced to convert to Islam
There isn’t much difference …. between a rabid Muslim …. and some Democrat entitlement mal-content …. hugging Hillary’s knees ?
We have to hold on to the belief …. that many Muslims …. would reject Islam …. if they could …. this would be a good time for them to step forward ?
Mr Ibrahim came out of Egypt at the first rumblings of what happened during the Arab Spring. I was in Egypt in ’87 not just as a tourist on some luxury hotel complex but made it my business to meet with real Egyptians in their homes and at cafe’s. The word on the street in ’87 was rumbling rebellion not against the then President but with the sentiments of the Muslim Brotherhood! Each time I read about Egypt the conversation with an extremely rabid man and a true Egyptian Psychologist comes to mind. I believe this quy in ’87 he would have been in his 30’s many true Egyptians and Egyptian Copts (the Copt I met has probably been slaughtered by now) wanted Egypt to move more and more toward a democracy without the Muslim Brotherhood – secularist. It pays to observe when one is abroad.
You are correct. We were last in Egypt in 2008 and it was wonderful. We were in Turkey in 2011 and both my husband and I felt a very weird vibe. We were shocked to see the usually secular Turkish women covering. In fact my husband who is from Egypt was uncomfortable the entire time we were there, you could feel something was brewing.
Word coming out of Egypt is it is very calm and no problems at the moment. After the Russia airliner went down el Sisi has been taking care of business. Tourism was coming back and with that tragedy tourists have been staying away which is devastating to their economy.
The series of class photos in this article perfectly illustrates his comment about women in Egypt;

Sorry, but I simply don’t buy this ” nice Muslim” narrative. ( I’m smelling a rather large 7th century rat here ).
There are so many core issues in Islam that are diametrically opposed to civilisation, minority rights, women’s rights, animal rights, democracy , respect for governments, respect for other religions, etc etc etc. that it is to my mind simply not possible to be a good Muslim and a good American.
This guy would have to renounce so much of his ideology that he would cease to be a Muslim and become an apostate , thereby running the risk of being murdered.
Just as we would ridicule anyone who says ” I’m a Nazi, but I’m a nice peaceful moderate Nazi and I love stroking cute little kittens”, so we should likewise ridicule any Muslim who comes out with any similar nonsense.
The only “good ” Muslim is an ex-Muslim.
So there.
And let’s not forget that Muslims are mandated to lie whenever necessary in order to advance their evil death-cult.
Muzzo I believe this man because he is describing the Egypt my husband grew up in. My husband is a Coptic Christian and he had lots of Muslim friends and in the “good old days” they were not radical and in fact some even attended church with him and no one talked about religion. Durning most of the 20th century in Cairo no one wore a head bag and the women dressed in western fashions. Female members of my family have talked about school girl friends that never covered and now 30 years later feel intimidated to now do so.
Mrs. P, that’s why I posted this. I had a feeling he was sincere because of everything you’ve told me about your husband’s family in Egypt way back when.
Love the new edit feature! ??
The man is sincere. He is an American first, he is not a practicing muslim. We need more like him. Hard working and loves America!
I loved how Trump not only shook his hand but joined in an almost embrace. So, he’s a Muslim but he still supports the immorality of theIr immoral prophet, then still a question comes into my mind. But if he wants to leave islam and is afraid then supporting Trump amongst the Muslim community is like a death sentence as well. I’m confused.
Dima, I would guess he is a Muslim in name only, judging by what he said about why he left Egypt. Then again, I could be dead wrong.
Name muslims indeed ! You’re so right.
The majority of Turkish muslims, Balkan muslims and more do not know what they are doing. Don’t understand arabic, don’t understand the Koran and what they praying for what that realy means ?
I mean ,The Oeigers, a minority etnic muslim Chinese, they even don’t know what Islam is all about!
For the majority of name muslims is it a set of rules:
The do list
The do not list
Some religious festivals
Some recites of prayers
But the core of Islam, they don’t no
Majority muslims do not no that pedo Mo is a real false prophet
Allah is a moon god
And the mojority of muslims in Afrika and the M.E. are illeterate. They can not read !
Islam is an evil death cult. It s is Evil.
Islam is a religion of fear. Most muslims have fear to live the Islam.
I hope that this man will leave Islam and free himself from the bondage of the evil spirit of Islam.
But that means also leaving your family.
Liza, I have to disagree with your statement about the Uighurs in China. They are very dangerous.
Check it out here: http://www.barenakedislam.com/?s=%22Uighurs%22
Oh no plz.
Uygurs are very dangerous.?
It’s not a pro Uygur what I am saying.
Islam is just evil
Islam don’t allows critical rational thinking.
They just follow
Brave man, indeed! I fear his safety.
May G-d protect him and his family and may many more gain the fortitude this man has shown.
Anyone know the Illuminatti? I’d like to ask if we can clone Elhamy Ibrahim.
dmaer man
I would think that Muslims that came here in order to leave Islam, but are still afraid, would back Trump. If Trump keeps out the ‘militant’, trouble making ‘refugees’, there will be less of a chance of the ‘fed-up’ Muslims being threatened / killed by hard liner newcomers.
Very true.
Ex muslims are the very best allies.
We need them. They have felt the heat of Islam in their neck.
They know exactly what they talk about.
And the group of ex muslims are expanding.
Walid Shoebat
Ayaan Ali Hiirsi
etc.
But also non muslims in the Arab world, the criticals, the intellectuals.
Etc.
I know Walid. He uses a lot of my posts on his site.
