The husband worked briefly at 2 different jobs but was fired for refusing to learn German. Now, he and his large herd will be living off the state, getting housing and $6,500 per month. Unemployed Germans don’t get anywhere near these kinds of benefits for life.
If you think that’s bad, look at this. A Syrian Muslim comes to Germany with 4 wives and 23 children. German law says he could only apply for benefits with one wife and their children. But the other wives and their kids could apply separately, which means he and his wives and children would collectively rake in $390,000 per year.
UK Express Germany does not legally recognize polygamy, meaning that Ghazia A was forced to choose a “main wife” so the rest of the family could claim benefits. The other three wives are categorized as “friends” of the Syrian Muslim freeloader for life.
Ghazia A now lives with his “main” wife Twasif and their five children in Montabaur, in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate – while the other three wives and children have been moved into neighbouring communities up to 31 miles away where they get free benefits for life.
The man used to work in a garage and car hire service in his homeland but has not worked since resettling in Germany. Mr Ghazia expressed an interest in working again but noted his commitments to his family made this difficult. He said: “In our religion it is my duty to visit every family and to be with them.”
One of Ghazia’s neighbours, Sergei Jaufmann, said: “The children play football in the street. The mother I often see, when it comes back from shopping.” Social media users vented their frustrations, with one claiming “the Syrian with 4 women and 23 children is now being sold to us as a new normality.”
