Van full of angry Muslims pulled a truck driver from his vehicle and viciously beat him with a metal pole before turning on police in a horrific attack on a busy Melbourne highway. They are trying to call it “road rage” but we know what it should be called, whenever Muslims are involved.
Daily Mail (h/t Sara S) A group of up to six men who ‘looked like electricians’ allegedly used metal poles to attack a truck driver and smash his windscreen in a terrifying road rage incident.
Witnesses said the alleged attackers turned on police when they rushed to the scene in Port Melbourne on Thursday morning.
The incident is believed to have started when the truck driver was allegedly involved in a minor collision with the van just after 8am.
The van – and according to witnesses two others – then followed the truck for more than 5km before allegedly trapping the driver and pulling him from his vehicle.
‘There were three vans. One parked in front of the truck, one behind the truck and one on the side of the truck. They seemed to block him in,’ a witness told 3AW.
‘They all ran to the cabin, they pulled him out of his truck – they were hitting him in the street and one of the guys was hitting his truck.’
The witness said police arrived ‘within seconds’ and threw two of the men to the ground. ‘They started arresting them and then the other four guys started attacking the police,’ he said.
Police used capsicum spray before back up arrived to arrest all six men, according to the witness.
‘They all seemed to work for the same company, they looked like they were electricians, they had their company logo on the van,’ he said.
I only saw two or three guys attacking the guy, but there were three vans and they all seemed to work for the same company.’
Another witness told Nine News: ‘The trade vans surrounded the truck and started attacking the driver with weapons.
‘We watched the guys jump out, some armed with sticks or clubs and start attacking [the truck’s] cab.’
