American bleeding heart cyclists decided to leave their jobs and set out on a “peace tour,” which included several Muslim countries, in order to prove that there is no evil in the world. Their leftist theory fell apart in Tajikistan, where they got run down and stabbed to death by Muslims.
On July 29, fiveMuslim terrorists in Tajikistan rammed a car into a group of seven Western cyclists, then set upon them with knives. Four of the cyclists were killed: two from the United States, one from Switzerland and one from the Netherlands.

BizPacReview Naivety kills, especially Liberal naivety. In the case of Jay Austin and Lauren Geoghegan, an idealistic American couple who refused to acknowledge the existence of evil, their naivety left them stabbed to death by ISIS. Their gruesome deaths in the Central Asian country of Tajikistan late last month occurred during a global cycling tour they had embarked on a year earlier.
Austin said: “You watch the news and you read the papers and you’re led to believe that the world is a big, scary place. People, the narrative goes, are not to be trusted. People are bad. People are evil. People are axe murderers and terrorists and monsters and worse,” he wrote.
This is not the first time ‘peace and love’ that Western leftists have learned this lesson the hard way in a Muslim country. And I’m sure it won’t be the last.
