Newsbusters While talking to Republican voters in Staten Island, a majority of whom are of Italian and Jewish descent, NBC News reporter Jacob Soboroff got a reality check in how much support exists for President Trump in the New York City borough. One woman even suggested that if the journalist didn’t like her conservative views that he could, “go to Venezuela.”
A nearly 15-foot high art installation of President Donald Trump now sits on the lawn of a Staten Island home below. It`s the brainchild of local artist Scott LoBaido – best known for his painted American flags and for being a self-avowed huge Trump supporter. He says it`s not too early to look ahead at 2020.
ABC13 Not everyone in Staten Island is for Trump. Trump supporter Sam Pirozzolo’s T-shaped 12-foot sign of support for the Presidential nominee went up in flames during the 2016 campaign. But he vowed that the artist who created it would be back to build another one.
