Haneen Muhyeddin (right), president of the Muslim Brotherhood front group, ‘Muslim Student Association’ at Wingate University in North Carolina, will have extra security at an event featuring a Libyan Muslim journalist, simply because a woman on Facebook said something negative about the quran.
WSOC-TV But apparently Haneen Muhyeddin, president of the MSA Stirred up university officials so much (aided and abetted by CAIR, no doubt, which seems to have the media on speed dial), that they are providing extra police security.
But even Muhyeddin says in the interview: “I didn’t really think anything of it,” Muhyeddin said. “There were no direct threats toward us. It really was just hate speech, which is nothing new to us.”
Nevertheless, University spokeswoman Kristen Yost said the school wants all people to feel welcome. “We want them to feel like they’re stepping into our home and that they are becoming part of our family. So, we want to make sure that they feel as safe and secure as possible,” Yost said.
FYI: There are only about 12 Muslim students at Wingate University, a Baptist-founded school.
Not surprisingly, Haneen Muhyeddin, is quite the Muslim shitstirrer at Wingate: Muslim students objected to the presence of Nonie Darwish, an Egyptian-born Muslim convert to Christianity, who was invited to speak at the Wingate campus
Haneen Muhyeddin, a Wingate senior from a Palestinian family, says Darwish misrepresented her faith.“She came to campus and was basically claiming that the Quran tells Muslims to kill all non-Muslims. And that’s what Allah commands us to do, and if we’re not following it, then we either don’t know what’s really in our books or we’re not real Muslims, basically,” she said.
