Following the highly-publicized allegations of the Minnesotan congresswoman’s anti-Semitism and her statement downplaying the 9/11 terrorist attacks, a rally and billboard launch calling for her removal was organized. Ilhan Omar is one of the two freshmen Jew-hating Muslim women to be elected to the US legislature.
JPost “In my lifetime, I cannot think of any other politician who presents a bigger threat to the alliance between the US and Israel and to America’s Jews,” organizer Joe Diamond told The Jerusalem Postahead of Monday’s protest. “This woman is an ardent anti-Semite, and she doesn’t even try to hide it.”
Omar’s critics had planned to launch a billboard with redacted quotes from the politician, alongside graphic 9/11 imagery. The group, named “Ilhan Must Go,” was prepared to spend thousands of dollars on the billboard, with donations from the Simon Wiesenthal Center, the Zionist Organization of America and others.
Joe Diamond spoke with PJ Media about the rally and expressed disappointment that the billboard was not approved to run. As far as I know, the city (Muslim-panderer) Bill deBlasio had nothing to do with it,”
Diamond said. According to Diamond, Clear Channel, which owns the billboard space, waited until last Wednesday to inform him via telephone they weren’t going to let him run the billboard because they claimed they don’t run ads that disparage groups or individuals. This was after they’d previously agreed to run it. “We had already signed the contract and made the downpayment,”
Instead, the detractors put the video display on a truck, as they were unable to receive a stationary billboard permit from comrade Bill de Blasio’s cronies in New York City, which cited the ad as “disparaging.”

A screen on the truck flickered with controversial statements Omar has made since being elected in 2018, including her much-publicized and allegedly antisemitic tweet “It’s all about the Benjamins baby.” Speakers at the event included former Democratic New York State assemblyman Dov Hikind and award-winning advocate of Christian Zionism Laurie Cardoza-Moore.
“We have to utilize every mechanism of media to wake up Americans about the vile hatred of this woman. Christians should also be alarmed. Ilhan Omar is a huge threat to our national security,” Cardoza-Moore said. The activist told the Post that she expects to be called Islamophobic following her statements. “I’m just against terrorism,” she claimed.
Omar has previously called for defunding the entire Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and called for abolishing ICE last week, along with ending deportations and ending the criminalization of migrants illegally entering the United States.
Here are just a few examples, as reported by The Daily Wire, of Omar’s anti-Semitism:
Omar has been condemned by Congress and many of her Democratic colleagues multiple times over her blatant anti-Semitism, which includes promoting a conspiracy theory that Nazi Germany used to demonize Jews; supporting the anti-Semitic BDSmovement; suggesting that Israel should not be allowed to exist as a Jewish state; claiming without evidence that her “Jewish colleagues” had devised a scheme to silence her criticism of Israel; falsely claiming that pro-Israel groups were paying off American politicians to be loyal to Israel; and claiming without evidence that her Democratic colleagues were expecting her to have dual loyalties.
Below is Dov Hikind, former NY State Assemblyman, speaking to the crowd at the Times Square rally:
If she isn’t removed, & Jewish Reps remain silent their seats won’t be safe in 2020. Silence is complicity & the Dems seem to have placed their bet on the antisemitic horses! pic.twitter.com/KbdarvT3Bs

The Coalition to Get Ilhan Omar Off The House Foreign Affairs Committee organized via their Facebook group and website. Niger Innis, who is a member of the advisory board, was recently on Fox News Business and mentioned the group’s efforts, and why what they’re doing is so important. “For [Ilhan Omar] to be able to have access to sensitive national security material is a threat to all Americans,” Innis said on Trish Regan Primetime.
When The Coalition to Get Ilhan Omar Off the Foreign Relations Committee decided to rent space on a Times Square billboard they began a fundraising drive on Facebook. A drive that coalition officials say passed the social media company’s review process.
But as the deadline for paying for the billboard fast approached, Facebook, citing violations of its community standards, took down the fundraising drive. And, according to the coalition, it will take up to three months to reimburse those people who have made donations.
The coalition, citing Facebook’s terms of service, argues that it has not violated community standards. In this interview, coalition honorary chairman Jeff Wisenfeld, a former executive assistant to New York Gov. George Pataki, argues Facebook is applying a dual standard to his organization.
