At least four Muslims, including a commander of the Palestinian terror group Islamic Jihad, have been killed in the Gaza Strip in overnight Israeli raids. Bahaa Abu al-Ata and his wife were killed in a raid on his home in Gaza. The raids also hit apartments and a Hamas facility in Gaza.
Furthermore, Israeli warplanes fired missiles towards Damascus, into the Mezzah neighbourhood. Two of those hit the house of Akram al-Ajouri – another commander of Islamic Jihad. His son and granddaughter were killed in the attack.
