Contrary to what the leftist media would have you believe about Muslim immigrants coming to the West to fill jobs, the reality of the number of Muslim immigrants who are gainfully employed in Sweden is significantly worse than previously stated.
Friatider (h/t Marvin W) It actually does not take 8-9 years for immigrants to find steady work, which is often argued because this figure includes people who after 8 or 9 years, only work only 1 hour per week.
Now, a study from the Research Institute of Commerce has adjusted the figures by defining so-called labor market status based on annual salary income corresponding to the minimum wage in the country.
The result shows that the labor market establishment of foreign-born is greatly overestimated.
After nine years in Sweden, ONLY 29% have a monthly salary exceeding SEK 20,000, which is the minimum wage, but many immigrants still find it difficult to reach such a level.
After 15 years in the country, the figure has only increased to 37 percent.
“Half of all foreign-born people aged 21-50 when they arrived in Sweden after 15 years are unemployed, outside the workforce or in a labor market policy program,” writes Hans Seerar Westerberg, one of the co-authors, on his Facebook.
The report’s selection includes everyone from Asia or Africa who immigrated to Sweden between 1998-2010 and who were 21-50 when they came here. The study then follows these people for 5-15 years.
