Emmanuel Macron wants to fight “Islamic separatism” (parallel communities) without stigmatizing Muslims. “It is not a plan against Islam,” he said, “but there is no room in France for political Islam.”
Archyde “Islamic separatism is incompatible with freedom and equality, incompatible with the indivisibility of the Republic and the necessary unity of the nation,” said French President Emmanuel Macron. “I will not let any foreign country nourish, on the soil of the Republic, a separatism, that it is religious, political or identity.”
“In the Republic, we cannot accept that we refuse to shake a woman’s hand because she is a woman; in the Republic, we cannot accept that someone refuses to be treated or educated by someone; in the Republic, one cannot accept the deschooling; in the Republic, certificates of virginity cannot be required to marry; in the Republic, one should never accept that the laws of religion can be superior to the laws of the Republic, it’s that simple, “said the president.
What Macron fails to understand is that Muslims are not in France to assimilate with French society and culture, but to set up parallel communities with Muslim schools, mosques, stores, and ultimately Islamic laws. It’s what Muslims have done for centuries whenever they mass migrate to a country, with the goal of one day taking over that country and turning it into an Islamic-ruled nation.
France’s Muslim community is the largest in Europe.
