A 12-year-old boy has died after he was stabbed at a school in the Muslim immigrant ghetto Kortedala, in Northern Gothenburg, by a Muslim student of the same age.
Voice of Europe After being stabbed in the neck on March 30th at a school parking lot in an area Swedish police regard as one of the country’s 22 “very vulnerable areas”, also known as no-go Muslim areas, the young boy later died in the hospital from the injuries he sustained during the attack, SVT reports.
Shortly after being alerted to the situation, police arrived on the scene to find an injured boy who had been cut badly in his throat. The same evening, after talking to witnesses and getting a description of the perpetrator, police arrested the attacker at his home.
Because the attacker is under the age of 15, he cannot be prosecuted in the normal way that adult criminals are prosecuted in Sweden. Despite a full-scale murder investigation being underway, the suspect cannot be convicted of murder since he’s under the age of 15.

The so-called LUL-31 investigation can either lead to the case being handed over to the social service or to the so-called proof of claim. In the latter case, a trial would occur but the goal would be to determine a debt that should be paid, not to convict the attacker.
Both the populist Sweden Democrats and the Moderate party want to lower the age when an adolescent can be legally punished for a crime from 15-years-old to 13 or even lower.
But that’s not all:
