As more and more Arab Muslim leaders sign onto the Abraham Accords, normalizing relations with the State of Israel, Palestinians are throwing hissy fits, burning flags, and stomping on photos of their Arab brethren, which has led to an unexpected backlash from several Arab leaders.
A backlash which includes threats of cutting off the $billions in annual financial aid to the Palestinians which has been funding terrorist attacks against Israel instead of helping the people build their economy.
Lebanese journalist Nadim Koteich mocked a statement by Palestinian ambassador to France in an October 14, 2020 show on Sky News Arabia (UAE), saying that the Palestinian resistance has gone on for 100 years, and it will go on for 100 years more.
Koteich added that the Palestinians received an opportunity to establish a prosperous state in Gaza, after Israel withdrew from the Strip in 2005, however, they destroyed it.
Another Lebanese journalist Rami Naim says: Peace with Israel is coming no matter what.
Lebanese journalist Rami Naim, the publisher and general manager of Lebanese news site elsiyasa.com, said in an October 2, 2020 interview on MTV (Lebanon) that Lebanon’s recent agreement to border negotiations with Israel, mediated by the U.S., is a sign that Lebanon will eventually normalize relations with Israel.
Naim adds, Lebanon has recognized the existence of the State of Israel and that Lebanon is no longer conducting an “existential struggle” against Israel.
