A real man. Few and far between. This is the best video of the incident.
I imagine the pup must have sores and bruises from the alligator’s teeth and tremendous jaw pressure clamped on it.
And what bravery the man displayed when he went straight into the water, under the water, to save his beloved dog. This was one angry man.
What is not shown: The alligator’s fate, its jaws. This man was determined.
