Would-be suicide bomber, Shifa Al-Qudsi, was arrested with 33 pounds of explosives hidden under a maternity dress, just hours before she could carry out a deadly suicide bombing attack inside an Israeli supermarket in Netanya.
PalWatch (h/t Eric R) Al-Qudsi was recruited for a suicide bombing in a supermarket in the coastal city of Netanya. Then 24 years old and a beauty technician in Tulkarem, she planned to blow herself up with 33 pounds of explosives strapped to her body under a maternity dress. Before she could carry out the attack, Israeli intelligence agents were tipped off and she was arrested and later convicted. Al-Qudsi was released after serving six years in an Israeli prison. Following her release, she became an activist for the Israeli-Palestinian NGO Combatants for Peace, which claims to be all about peace but is involved in anti-Israel activity.
