Prior to today’s explosion, another blast at an oil refinery in southern Iran came just two days after a huge explosion took out an Iranian explosives/drone factory in Isfahan.
BaaghiTV(h/t Frederic F) One person was killed and two others were injured in an explosion at a petrochemical plant in Asaluyeh, southern Iran, off the coast of the Persian Gulf on Wednesday.

This is the third incident reported at a petrochemical plant in Iran since the beginning of the week. Earlier this week, incidents took place at Kangan Petro Refining Company (KPRC) and petrochemical plants in Shahin city.
Like the other two events, the source of the explosion remains unknown, and both events have similar features to the chain of events that took place back in the summer of 2020, when numerous Iranian factories caught fire throughout the country, leading many to speculate Israeli sabotage.
