Even if he’s perhaps the most honest Muslim in the UK that gets on TV, he still isn’t being entirely honest here.
According to sharia law anyone could sharia-legally kill Pamela Geller (or any who “insult” Mohammed) at any time without a trial. The jihadi killer who did so might face a trial if there was any question as to whether the victim actually insulted Mohammed or not, but if there’s insufficient doubt that the victim did insult Mohammed then then jihadi would be acquitted or more likely never tried in he first place in obvious cases.
So he’s being deceptive when he suggests that any sort of trial would be required. If he were being entirely honest he would say that well ideally there would be a trial but according to sharia it isn’t necessary.
Sharia law in this case clearly says: kill first and ask questions later. That is why the afghan woman who was falsely accused of burning a Quran was just immediately killed, then questions started getting asked later. This is the kind of situation that sharia law causes.
Anyone out there who is advocating for sharia law is advocating for this. They are advocating for vigilante killing of everyone who criticizes Mohammed regardless of whether or not they try to deny it.
