CAIR to Seek DOJ Probe of ‘Muslim Free Zone’ Businesses in Florida, New Hampshire(WASHINGTON, D.C., 7/19/15) — The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), today said it will call on the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) to investigate possible federal civil rights violations by businesses in Florida and New Hampshire that have been declared “Muslim free zones.”
CAIR says that systematically banning Muslims from such businesses is a violation of federal laws prohibiting racial and religious discrimination in public accommodations.
Florida Gun Supply in Inverness, Fla., produced and distributed a video in which a representative of the business appears before a Confederate flag and announces the “Muslim free zone” as a response to the recent shooting in Chattanooga, Tenn.
In the video, that representative also defends the Confederate flag as a symbol of “heritage,” blames the election of President Obama for a rise in racism and decries the “lies” of American leaders that “Islam is not evil.”

That first verse, the verse of the sword, abrogates over 100 other (usually peaceful) verses in the Quran according to mainstream Islamic scholarship. And these two verses are just a tiny part of the overall imperialistic supremacist political and war doctrine of Islam.

1) this an attempt at deflection which is the usual Muslim tactic of avoidance and denial of Islamic doctrine. Why don’t you try addressing this without reference to anything outside of Islam? You won’t be able to do it using any Islamic theological argument. If you can do it at all then it will be by using beliefs from non-Islamic sources.
2) a Christian would address this by saying that this is descriptive not prescriptive. For example Christians do not infer that they should sacrifice their child simply because of this verse. They also do not believe that Abraham was the “most perfect” moral person who should be imitated in every single way. I don’t know of any ultra Orthodox Jews sacrificing their kids to Yahweh or claiming that Abraham (or any other prophet) should be precisely imitated.
The Verse of the Sword and the Fighting Verse are not simply descriptions of something that happened in the past, but commands to all Muslim believers for all time. They aren’t just descriptions of violent incidents, but commands to carry out violence and supremacist domination. And because Mohammad is considered the most perfect example for humanity, according to Islam, even historical descriptions of Mohammad’s violent atrocities (see Ibn Ishaq) are taken as examples to follow in modern times. This is especially true when those historical descriptions are consistent with indefinite commands from “Allah” contained in the Quran.

BNI, we know Andy personally, and are delighted to see him and his gun business featured on your site. Andy is a nice Christian family man who loves everyone. He is very wise to declare his gun range a “Muslim free zone”, because his gun range is on his own personal property, with his own home only a few hundred yards away. He is right to take proper steps to keep his family, home, and business customers safe. Andy taught the concealed carry class that my husband and I took a few years ago. We remember him as being very polite, very well-trained and well-informed, and most of all, respectful. Many gun teachers are not very respectful to women and talk down to us. But I have recommended Andy to all my female friends for their concealed carry classes, because Andy is so respectful and patient with everyone. I have not been up there in a few years, but back when my husband and I went to him for the class to get our CC permits, everything was on his private land, which is out in “the sticks”. He has a nice outdoor gun range, his house, and his store, all on his private property, the same private property upon which his house sits. I hope this situation helps protect him, or if not, he should declare his gun store and range to be a private club. There are many private gun clubs in Florida, I am sure it is not hard to do. For example, the Hernando Sportsmen’s Club in Hernando County, Florida, just to the south of where Andy lives, is a huge private gun club with over 1000 members. Andy should look into that.

I do not know if you write truthfully or not, but if you are a follower of Islam and do not take a stand against Islamic extremism, which is directly responsible for tens of thousands of senseless murders this year, thousands of women/children sold into sex slavery, the destruction of archeological sites and the beautiful artifacts within them, and hundreds of thousands of refugees now suffering in deplorable living conditions, then YOU are part of the problem. Followers of Islam MUST take a stand against the extremists else the problems will continue to escalate, and the trust of Muslims will continue to decline toward zero. It is headed in that direction, and it is your own fault for passively condoning the actions of the extremists by your lack of action against them.
Muslims could learn a lesson from some of the darker history of America. When white people were perpetrating genocide against native Americans, simply because their skin and their culture were different, it was other white people who rose up and stopped them. When white people formed the KKK and perpetrated violence upon black people, it was other white people who rose up and stopped them. But in todays world Muslims are not only doing nothing to stop Islamic extremists, they are in fact passively condoning the actions of those extremists, with very few exceptions. You are not part of the solution, therefore you are part of the problem.
Islamic extremists are perhaps the most intolerant of all people on Earth. Yet even now there are Americans who want to give followers of Islam the benefit of doubt. The proganda media machine blinds many of them, and seemingly retarded college students who buy into such propaganda help convince others that, for reasons unknown to logical persons, we need to be “gentle” with followers of Islam. We can not “offend” them, despite the rather obvious fact that ANYTHING against their beliefs is offensive to them. But as low as tolerance has fallen, tolerance is waning; in part because the rate of acts of senseless violence by Islamic extremists is out of control, almost a daily event across the world, and in part because there is no real outrage expressed by Muslims; no action against the extremists. Groups like ISIS (or ISIL or whatever you want to call them) are destroying the lives of so many people, and the potential for a happy life of millions of others, all while weak world “leaders” do nothing to stop them. But things are heating up. The proverbial pot is about to boil over. When it does, the world will see a stronger meaning of “Life is not fair” than ever before. Because along with the extremists, tens of millions of Muslims who would otherwise try to live in peace will be exterminated. The unlikely saviors of the world will probably be China and Russia, perhaps with a small number of allies. The spineless “leaders” of America, the UK and the EU will protest. College students will protest and whine. Boycotts will be called for. But in the end, after the horror, life will return to relative normal, with the possibility of world peace. For as long as Islamic extremists exist, there shall never be world peace. If by some miracle all non-Muslims were transported to another planet tonight, then by tomorrow followers of Islam would be murdering each other. Groups like CAIR would be suing each other for every litte thing. Telling the truth would get people killed, because surely it would offend somebody.
Making comments like “You people are FILTH” will only reinforce people’s belief that Muslims are all alike. If you want people to believe otherwise, then DO something about the extremists, and show some tolerance for those who hold different beliefs.

BNI: You know, when you think about it, these shooters have to learn to shoot a weapon. Therefore, the gun ranges.
Also, playing paintball such as recently in New York can come in handy. Thus, not only should they be banned from going near a gun range but also from paintball practice centers.
If they’re to practise how to shoot, it’s best we see them out in the open.

I can guarantee that any gun range that is somehow forced to accept absolutely anyone is going to have an armed range officer with his hand on his gun the whole time any time there’s a guy with a huge beard and a full Mohammad outfit using the range.
But I kind of doubt that scenario happens too often. I suspect most ranges are run as “private clubs” of some sort or the other, even if member referral isn’t required, because they need to be able to exclude anyone who seems like too much of a risk regardless of the reason. (For example, someone known to routinely handle firearms in an unsafe manner.)
I haven’t been to a commercial range in quite some time, but the times I have I had to fill out some paperwork to use the range. This is probably considered to be a membership application. The range at the NRA headquarters requires you to take a written test as well.
Maybe they’d like to come and stand down range? I’d go along with that.
Perhaps the Muslim Free Zone should be the area behind the firing line. Down range should be the Muslims Only Zone, just like Mecca.
