GREAT NEWS! Marine Le Pen’s niece, Marion Marechal Le Pen, defects to rival presidential candidate Eric Zemmour’s campaign
The niece of French conservative anti-Islamization leader Marine Le Pen, Marion Marechal, on Sunday officially joined forces with an even more anti-Islamization rival campaign – Eric Zemmour – for the April 2022 elections in a blow to her aunt’s bid.
Reuters (h/t MC) French conservative, anti-Muslim immigration presidential candidate Eric Zemmour won the backing of the niece of Marine Le Pen – his main conservative, anti-Muslim immigration rival, highlighting the fractured opposition to President Emmanuel Macron which could boost Macron’s re-election chances.
Marion Marechal Le Pen, who is also the grand-daughter of French far-right figurehead Jean Marie Le Pen, gave her endorsement at a rally of Zemmour supporters in Toulon, southern France, on Sunday.
“There is a big, national movement behind your candidacy,” Marion Marechal Le Pen told the Toulon rally.
“Yes, I have decided to support Eric Zemmour in the presidential election.” “I join the candidate who I see today as best placed to bring to fruition the ideas I have always defended, and share Zemmour’s views over France facing a ‘battle of civilizations.’ “With regards to the term of battle of civilizations (West vs Islam), I obviously include questions regarding migration, culture and demographics,” Marion Marechal Le Pen told Valeurs Actuelles.
Marion Marechal is seen by many observers to be a future leader of he conservativet nationalist camp.
Maréchal (32) retired five years ago from politics and from Le Pen’s Front National party, which has since been renamed the Rassemblement National (RN). Nonetheless, her move to the Zemmour camp is seen as a weakening of Le Pen, who was temporarily overtaken by Zemmour in the polls ahead of the April election.
Reuters Marine Le Pen was dealt another blow in February as her party’s only senator became the latest member to throw his support behind rival Eric Zemmour ahead of April’s election.
Though Le Pen is polling better than Zemmour, she is struggling to breathe new life into her campaign after a number of defections of which Senator Stephane Ravier is the latest and most high profile. “From now on I am giving my support to Eric Zemmour in this presidential campaign because I’m convinced that he is the real uniter,” Ravier said on Europe 1 radio.

Strange it is that they always refer to Zemmour as ”Far Right’ because he loves France and wishes to defend its culture and traditions that are being destroyed every day by non French people that come from islamic Nations but if a muslim claims he is proud to be a muslim from wherever this is referred too as being just proud to be a muslim from wherever…Europeans are being lead to believe they are evil, bad, racist people, but if that was the case then why are the worlds people trying to get into such a racist evil part of the world…. Makes no sense…VIVA Zemmour.
The real danger is that the conservative opposition to macron’s accommodationist policies towards islamic migration into France is seriously split. LePen should drop out & support Zemmour. Otherwise, macron may squeak out a victory and remain in office to do additional damage to France. Vive le droit.
France’s welcome mat for the Islamic fanatic hordes has been in tatters for some time. I am just wondering when they are going to finally throw it out into the trash.
