It isn't Islamophobia when they really ARE trying to kill you

BNI MENTAL HEALTH BREAK: Saving Blue Zeus and family
The Bureau of Land Management has been rounding up wild horses to make more room for livestock (cattle) and mining companies. Although offered up for adoption, most end up getting sent to slaughter houses, even though horse slaughter for meat has been banned in America for over a decade.
TheCounter During BLM sanctioned wild horse roundups, wild horses are traumatically stampeded over long stretches by helicopters and other means. This herding technique is not only terrifying but horses are often injured in the process. They are herded into small corrals where many of the old and young are hurt by their panicked herd members. After they are confined they await their fate.
Last year, the bureau removed 11,472 wild horses and burros nationwide, more than in the three previous years combined. But its taxpayer-funded corrals and pastures, where horses wait to be sold or adopted, are nearing capacity.
The pressing question is where to put this growing population once existing options are full. Slaughtering horses for food is illegal in the U.S., but a market exists beyond our borders, in Europe, Japan and Russia. This is why brokers called “kill buyers” send trailers full of horses, both wild and domestic, into Mexico and Canada, where slaughter is legal. Last year, 81,573 American wild horses made the trip.
Activists focused on the plight of wild horses beginning in the 1950s, largely due to the crusading efforts of Velma Johnston, better known as Wild Horse Annie. Johnston convinced Americans that mustangs, which had been set loose on range land as they were replaced by cars and tractors, were national treasures, and that roundups were ruthless and excessive. Congress agreed, and in 1971 passed the Wild and Free-Roaming Horses and Burros Act, which declared the animals to be “living symbols of the historic and pioneer spirit of the West.”
The act also protected them from slaughter, and choked off a crucial supply for processors, effectively shutting down the American horse meat market. Even pet food companies stopped using horse meat, turning to beef as a cheaper alternative. But horsemeat is still very popular in other countries.Read More

What a touching story. The awesome ending gave me goosebumps.
I have a BLM (I hate that that is used for burn loot murder) mustang myself, and I love my boy dearly. I wish these bastards would leave our wild horses alone.
Beautiful
And the happiest of endings ever. What a woman, what a HORSE. Magnificent animals, but they scare me (I have minimal experience around them which could explain that).
back in the mid to late 50’s on the east Pryor range it was home to round 2 thousand head mixed blood lines some from the original spanish barb mostly duns , was out with party of crow indians and some of the bigger ranch outfits to curb an epidemic of ear mites brought on the range by domestic sheep from down south Texas the toll on the wild horses from that little parasite was heavy few survived . always suspected the BLM of that horse disaster it was convenient to their future plans
A friend of mine from the barn went to Wyoming on vacation and ended up adopting one of the Wild Mustangs. He’s adorable and very sweet, especially for a wild one. His name is Little Bear, only 14.3 hands.
well traveled little pony , my sister got a couple of them , rode on them they respond good to a hackamore but fight a iron bit both alike in their skidisness but good company as long as you stand out of their way
She’s using a very soft ‘happymouth’ snaffle bit that I gave her and he seems fine with it. She was a bit nervous and was going to use a strong bit on him, and I advised against it. I figured if he didn’t like the happymouth, I’d lend her the hackamore.
I have said to my wife in the past when we have watched films including horses that horses are very intelligent and have been throughout history oppressed slaves of homo sapiens and have suffered for thousands of years constant unjust cruelty.
Genocide of horses must be outlawed.
It is reasonable to use kind Euthanasia to put down a horse that is genuinely suffering, just like it is reasonable that humans should have the right to use Euthanasia when they are suffering with no chance of recovery.

Horses are a very beautiful, special gift from God to humans.
It breaks my heart that these precious horses are hunted down, massively abused, terrorized and sold for food.
I long for the day in God’s promised future, Glorious Kingdom on earth when horses and other animals will run free with great joy in perfect safety.

Thank you BNI for that important information.

And there is no reason to slaughter them for meat on a wholesale basis.

BNI, agreed 100%.

That made my eyes sweat.

Animal lovers are the best of people. I do not include groups like PETA in that category. They kill more animals than they save.
