On another note, out of all the Moslems in the world, perhaps I only like the Turkish variant. At least I don’t dislike them. The ones I met were very polite, courteous and had a real sense of humour.. Their women don’t wear the hijab which is a big plus in my book. Also, the Turks I met told me they don’t pray 5 times a day, and are pretty chill about alcohol. Plus they’re a secular country and don’t like to impose Islam on others. At least that’s been my experience. I could totally picture myself vacationing in Istanbul or Ankara for a month, if not more. Now I might be naive but I’m yet to find a reason to hate the Turks. What is your opinion of them?
As for the Egyptian Moslems, the ones I met were very argumentative about money. They just seem to lack a sense of mutual trust. But because I don’t speak Arabic that would have played a role in that miscommunication.
Also arguing endlessly is not enough reason to hate someone. When I fulfill my dream of seeing the iconic Pyramids and Sphinx, only if I run into a rabid fanatical Moslem tour guide, I might change my opinion. ☺️☺️Till then I’m keeping an open mind about the Egyptians.
