U.S. billionaire Elon Musk publicly reiterated his support for the (“far right-wing”)* Alternative for Germany (AfD) during the party’s election campaign launch in Halle on Saturday, urging European nations to take back control from Brussels and reject multiculturalism/mass Muslim immigration.
*NOTE: AfD is not “Far Right Wing” as Leftists and the Media insist on labeling it. In fact, there actually is a large Jewish division of AfD in Germany.

“I believe it is very important that people are proud to be German. This is very important. And it’s good to be proud of German culture and German values,” Musk told the crowd as he warned against embracing “a kind of multiculturalism that waters everything down.” The X owner insisted that Germany and other European countries should preserve their cultural identity.
“You want more self-determination for Germany and the countries in Europe and less from Brussels. There’s too much bureaucracy from Brussels, too much control from the global elite. There should be more determination from individual countries,” he told the crowd.
Concluding his speech, Musk underscored his hope for an AfD victory in next month’s federal elections, reinforcing his endorsement of Alice Weidel’s candidacy. “I think that would be very good for Germany. I hope the German people unite and strongly support the AfD.”
AfD co-leader Alice Weidel welcomed Musk’s statement, replying, “Yes! You’re absolutely right, Elon Musk!” Weidel thanked the entrepreneur for recognizing the AfD as Germany’s “only alternative” and wished him and U.S. President-elect Donald Trump success for the incoming U.S. administration.
The AfD is poised to place second in Germany’s February federal elections, reflecting growing public support for policies that emphasize economic freedom, reduced bureaucracy, national sovereignty, and stricter immigration.

Musk’s endorsement comes ahead of President Frank-Walter Steinmeier’s Dec. 27 announcement on whether the Bundestag will be dissolved.
Musk declared his support on X, writing, “Only the AfD can save Germany,” while sharing a video by activist Naomi Seibt. In the video, Seibt criticized the main opposition CDU’s chancellor candidate Friedrich Merz for refusing to engage with the AfD, claiming this stance prevents a “freedom-friendly approach.”

U.S. tech billionaire Elon Musk engaged with Alice Weidel, co-leader of Germany’s Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, during a highly anticipated conversation on X Spaces on Thursday to discuss critical issues facing Germany and advocate why, in both her and Musk’s view, the party is the only chance to “save” the country.
The wide-ranging dialogue allowed Weidel to speak directly to the public regarding the AfD’s policies on mass migration, libertarianism, pro-business initiatives, regulatory reduction, and a balanced energy strategy emphasizing nuclear power, without — as she put it — interference and spin from the mainstream media.
Weidel criticized former Chancellor Angela Merkel, labeling her as Germany’s first “green chancellor” and accusing her energy and immigration policies of “ruining” the nation.
“She enforced without asking the people to open our borders for illegal immigration, she wrecked our backbone in terms of obnoxious energy policy… Germany is the only industrial country that unplugged the nuclear power plants,” Weidel said in a scathing critique of Merkel’s administration.

I am constantly amazed that the so-called intelligentsia, both in the U.S. as well as in the E.U., constantly refer to groups such as the AfD as far right and NAZIs when the NAZIs were true ultra-left. They continue to conflate the conservative parties and borderline Marxists. It was not only the NAZIs that slaughtered Jews; Russia killed even more Jews than did Hitler. The Allies in Europe were for the most part conservatives such as Winston Churchill and Charles De Gaul, excluding the USSR.
