Peaceful protester arrested in Toronto for dressing up like an imam and mocking Islam.
BLOGWRATH It was only two weeks ago when the Supreme Court of Canada declared the criticism of homosexuality to be a hate crime. It seems that in Torontom, Islam is also under the same high protection. Today, at a protest somebody was arrested for mocking Islam.
As I wrote earlier, a protest event was scheduled for March 20 at the offices of the Liberal Party of Ontario. It was caused by the fact that the Minister of Labour of our ruling party, Yasir Naqvi, endorsed an Islamic book, which (in accordance with the Koran) recommended wife beating as a tool for solving family problems. Despite the public outrage, the Liberals chose to ignore the issue and turn a blind eye on Muslim misogyny.
The protest attracted a tiny group of participants carrying signs like:
“Beat wife only for honour & discipline, Holy Koran 4:34”
“Those that deny Islam will be killed, Holy Koran 33:16”
“Expose jihad with free speech or die”
However, what they lacked in numbers, they made up for with their creativity. Eric Brazau, who was one of the organizers, was dressed like an imam and accompanied by a woman in a full Muslim niqab.
Using a microphone, he gave a mock Muslim sermon, assisted by the veiled woman. He was “praising” Canada as a place, where you can beat your wife with impunity. Reading from sheets of paper, he also counted all the benefits you would get here if you are a religious fanatic. It was a satirical performance, which still focused the attention on the flaws of Islam.
In the beginning the people didn’t pay much attention. Then two police women stopped by and a police van for transporting people under arrest parked in the side street. Many of the people who were passing by found the event amusing – laughing and stopping to take pictures. Then some Muslims started to argue with the protestors, although everything was kept peaceful.
At a certain point, the police decided that the mockery of Islam is getting dangerous and sprang into action. Even more officers arrived and Eric Brazau, along with the other organizer, Ron Banerjee, were led to the police vehicles in the side street.
After the customary processing, Brazau was handcuffed and led away in the van. After some questioning, Banerjee was released. Although the police measures against a peaceful protest were outrageous, they didn’t surprise me. Now every special interest group is beyond reproach regardless of how despicable their positions or actions are.
But truth is truth, no matter what the Supreme Court of Canada says, Islam is a barbaric religion, because it openly promotes violence against women and deprives them from their rights. Of course, the police can arrest me for saying that, but that is not going to make Islam more likable or acceptable.
And we also have a double standard applied here. There is a similar type of protest going on in front of the Israeli Consulate every Friday. A tiny group of lefties, Muslims and self-hating Jews stands there handing out flyers and holding signs. They are also peaceful, but the materials they give away are virulently anti-Israeli and anti-Jewish. And yet I have never seen police talking to them; none of them has ever been arrested.
It looks like the critics of Islam are lesser people who can be on the receiving end of the police wrath for no apparent reason. Welcome to the new Toronto, where the Canadian values mean nothing and their defence becomes a dangerous business.
This ass kissing of Islam by Canada’s police state government will no doubt have a very negative affect on our grandchildrens futures. Sharia Law is now being operated in Britain, and it won’t be long until it’s operating in Canada. I don’t want my granddaughters vagina mutilated to appease a child sex offender named Allah, nor do I want them forced to wear Burkas, nor do I want to see Jews and gays hung by the neck as required by the Quran. This pandering to radical Islam to secure votes for political parties must stop before it’s too late, like it is for all European countries. BNI your words are so true. A very severe bridle is actually a good thing in the right hands because of the notion of control if needed and consequently SAFETY.
Hinged handcuffs are the best because if the prisoners hands are positioned palms facing outward (with the cuffs applied tightly enough so that the orientation of the hands cannot change) and the keyholes are facing away from the hands, it is impossible for the prisoner to free himself even if he had the key in his hands.
My wife and her co-workers had actually had prisoners pick the locks of chain link cuffs with a hidden paper clip, resulting in a very dangerous situation.
One night my wife told me it took her and three other officers to subdue a very strong and belligerent suspect. She was very professional and always handcuffed prisoners the proper way as explained above.
I over looked mentioning that the policewoman made sure her prisoner was handcuffed BEFORE reaching for the man’s wallet. My wife always made sure handcuffing was done BEFORE anything else.
The policewoman in this account is a dhimmi but apparently very competent and professional in her work.
The nazis and their tools in the French, Belgium and German police forces were also very “competent and professional”.
Uncle, but the question remains, why did they have to handcuff him? He wasn’t violent, he wasn’t resisting, he should not have been arrested for speaking on the street. I can’t say it never happens in the US now that the muslim is in office. But a New Jersey transit authority employee who was attending an event at Ground Zero in Manhattan on 9/11 was arrested for burning pages of a quran in the street. Gov, Chris Christie (muslim sympathizer and Ground Zero mosque supporter) said he deserved it.

Most people would not notice but the policewoman handcuffed the man as if he were dangerous. Hands tightly cuffed behind the back with PALMS FACING OUTWARD was the most secure way the man could be restrained with the handcuffs she had. If the policewoman had HINGED handcuffs instead of the chain link cuffs used the man would been restrained in the most secure (and uncomfotable) way possible. The policewoman may be a dhimmi but she is a real professional. The only likely reason hinged cuffs were not available was because they cost more.
In the same way most onlookers would not notice the hancuff design and hand orientation, they would not notce the difference between a horse bridled with a snaffle bit in contrast with a horse bridled with a curb bit.
Hinged handcuffs are to chain link handcuffs what a curb bit is to a snaffle bit.

I did not have you mind. I would NEVER talk down to you. I was commenting for readers in general. It is just that people not involved with law enforcement or horses would not generally notice such nuances.
I was not aware of different handcuff designs until I bought my former wife a pair of hinged handcuffs for a graduation from police academy gift.
Also I was clueless about different bridles until a woman I took to a horse show pointed out to me a horse that was very cruelly treated with a very severe bridle. My friend’s blood was boiling!
I was attempting to add insight to the narrative that the policewoman did not gently handcuff the man because of required procedure. She treated him harshly in a way that many casual observers would overlook.
I didn’t know about the handcuffs difference either.
But the thing about bridles is not the severity so much as the hands using them. I can use a very severe bridle on a strong horse and it will not hurt him. But a novice using a very mild snaffle bridle who doesn’t know what he’s doing can annoy the horse to no end.
The police officer is enforcing sharia law. There’s no other way to put it. To put any other spin on this story is obfuscation.

If a group of muslims were on a Canadian city street and mocked Judaism or Christianity, would the muslims have been arrested?
I will try to answer. Most Muslims (especially the fanatical) are very dull people, who totally lack any sense of humour. Mockery and satire are alien to them. When they organize a similar protest event, they don’t mock – they yell, shout, threaten and carry placards blaming Mossad, Israel and the Zionists for everything. I have never seen or even heard about a Muslim arrested under similar circumstances in Canada.
Last September I covered a large Muslim demonstration in Toronto against that YouTube movie. Israel was called “fascist state” and many speakers and participants wanted the introduction of blasphemy laws. Some of them even wanted the makers of the movie to be put to death. Not a single Muslim was arrested.
In contrast – two weeks ago there was a peaceful demonstration at an abortion clinic in Ottawa (I am not sure how that works in the USA, but in Canada anti-abortionists are very quiet people). The police saw that one of the participants had a camera, they seized it, erased all the pictures and gave it back to him. I wonder – is such police action possible in the USA?
Some lawyer in Toronto must take this case! Come on, not all of you are shysters, provide pro bono help for this man!
Horrifying. Canada was once a FREE country! No longer! To criticize Islam and to criticize Islamic wife beating is now against the law? And you will be arrested and handcuffed for doing that? Disgusting.

And I just got out of jail after five months. My first bail was denied. I got high court bail. The judge who denied at low court said ” Mr Brazau is a danger to society because his actions could instill retaliatory violence” O so lets lock up the girls so the boys do not get out of hand. Most or all of the Western courts need to be purged the same way as Western governments (both politicians and civil-servants), banking, law-firms, unions, academe, &c.
To be fair, this case has not been heard by Canada’s Supreme Court and if it gets that far before the accused are acquitted in a lower court or dismissed by the Crown to avoid media criticism, I will bet our SCC will find in favour of the accused. Maybe a few years ago, it would have been different but not now. People are waking up and while municipal police directed by councillors dependent on pro-shRi’ah funding may be among the last to realize it, incidents like this one help to clarify and to strengthen our Constitutional right to free expression a d to firm up legislation to better protect those rights. For instance, legislation was recently passed to better protect witnesses and to strengthen laws to stop the misuse of our immigration and refugee system by illegals with terrorist convictions.
I personally believe that when someone uses their “rights” to spread messages of hate, and killing as all Muslims do. They shouldn’t have those rights. Because they insight violence.

I, and many of my family and friends, would like to know of such country. But, it seems that Islam is a rare kind of cancer. It spreads fast and the only medical treatment is prohibited, which is completely and entirely remove it surgically OR killing the carrier to avoid spreading.

What of the various Polynesian islands like Tahiti, Rarotonga, Easter Island and those others? Perhaps they might have a bit of a chance. Also, the Hawaiian Islands other than Oahu (where the capital Honolulu is located), maybe the Aleutians (likely too cold), the Russo-Japanese Kuriles (also on the coldish side), Taiwan and a few others like the Falklands, South Sandwich Islands, even Canada’s Newfoundland (at a stretch – hopefully the relative poverty of that place may have helped keep it relatively free from Moslem infestation).
Taiwan already has a huge mosque that has some connections to islamofascist Turkey. I think a mosque has even be dragged out to near the Arctic Circle!
With virtually no exposed soil at all, one can’t really hope to grow or sustain any life upon Antarctica whatsoever. It HAS TO BE islands like the Falklands, South Sandwich, South Shetlands and whatever is still available…
Oh yes, not to forget some Canadian enclaves that are located in the Canadian Shield (on a small scale – places like Hearst, Hornepayne, Geraldton, &c.) as well as those gradually gaining a longer growing season in the forest belts in Northern Ontario, Québec, the Prairies – provided that it’s WELL AWAY from any sort of substantial human habitation. Even that’s NO guarantee: Moslems have been caught in places like Cold Lake, Alberta; Inuvik, NWT. However, with those being in relatively small numbers – and perhaps with natives’ (First Nations) help – it may be the next best thing to it; particularly if it comes to war.
The places to avoid the most of all are the urban centres – and the larger the worse!!! Obviously, Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, Montréal et al must be shunned most of all by a minimum of not less than 100 km. (62 miles).
