Obviously, a more advanced country than the “woke” Islam-pandering nations of Europe and the U.S. today.
Tajikistan, where 97% of the population is Muslim, has officially banned the Islamic hijab throughout the country.
The government of Tajikistan stated:
‘Hijabs are an alien culture and a cultural invasion. Women in this country do not cover their hair!’

Turkey (or Turkiye) for a long time had a long-standing policy of banning head jobs (hijabs) until fairly recently. It is not the first time Muslim majority countries actually banned hijabs, niqabs, abayas and other Islamic garb. At one time, in the 1950’s, an Egyptian president even ridiculed the idea of forcing women to wear the tarha (the Egyptian version of the hijab), especially when the Islamic fanatic that called for women to wear the tarha couldn’t even force his own daughter to wear, and he actually said something like, “If he can’t even force his own daughter to wear it, how can he expect me to force some 30 million women to wear it?” And the whole crowd of assembly laughed. And some man in the crowd actually shouted, “Make HIM wear it!” And until the growth of Islamic fundamentalism in the 1970’s women in the Middle East only rarely wore head jobs. It was only older very conservative women that wore any of that stuff, and apparently it was voluntary.
