Animal Rights campaigners claim that the animals are being killed in a brutal ‘clean-up’ operation to make Moroccan cities more presentable for visiting football (soccer) fans coming to see the World Cup there in 2030. Reports suggest thousands of stray dogs have already been massacred in venues across the North African nation, with fears the killings are escalating.
Daily Mail Jane Goodall, a prominent animal rights campaigner, has written to the international football association demanding immediate action, accusing the organisation of turning a blind eye to what she calls ‘a horrific act of barbarity’. In the letter addressed to FIFA’s Secretary General Mattias Grafström, Goodall said she was left appalled to see that Moroccan authorities were engaging in the large-scale killings.
‘I am equally appalled to learn from the IAWPC – International Animal Coalition that you have been presented with detailed dossiers documenting these horrific acts, most of which are conducted in the most brutal and cruel fashion imaginable, and yet appear to have ignored them,’ she continued.
The International Animal Coalition has launched a campaign to expose what it calls ‘Morocco’s ugly secret,’ detailing horrifying methods used to kill stray dogs. They claim dogs are being poisoned with strychnine, injected directly into their bodies or fed through bait.
Gunmen reportedly patrol the streets around the clock, shooting the animals and often leaving them wounded to die in agony. Other dogs are said to be trapped with clamping devices, thrown into trucks, and transported to facilities where they are inhumanely killed.
The coalition alleges that since FIFA’s announcement in 2023, the killings have dramatically increased, despite Moroccan authorities claiming in August 2024 that the initiative had been halted.

In Turkey, two young Muslims cut off a puppy’s ears and post the photos and video on social media. The two proceeded to cut the dog’s ears off with a sharp knife and had a friend record the scene – during the video, which was uploaded online but has since been deleted, the dog howls in despair, begging for mercy, but the cruel attackers just keep on going. At the end, they pose for photos, each with a piece of the dog’s ear in their hands, seemingly proud of their achievement.
Pascal the puppy was left for dead in Turkey after cruel Muslim children covered him in industrial glue and dragged him through mud in Istanbul. The dog is believed to be only four months old and could hardly move through fear and ill health giving him similar symptoms to rigor mortis. The children had put so much glue on him it acted like cement and one of his ears become necrotic because it was starved of blood. His skin also suffered extreme damage from the strong chemicals found in the glue and had to undergo a series of medical baths to help aid his recovery.

Dicasso, ‘animal rights activists’ are about veganism: nearly all of them are misled or mentally ill. They don’t want people to own dogs, or cats, or raise livestock. “Animal welfare activists” are the ones who believe in animal ownership and humane animal treatment. There are a few in Islamic countries and I’ve heard they work tirelessly for animals, but they have an uphill battle protecting or rescuing dogs.
