Syrian rebels beheaded a Christian man and fed his body to dogs, according to a nun who says the West is ignoring atrocities committed by Islamic extremists. The nun said taxi driver Andrei Arbashe, 38, was kidnapped after his brother was heard complaining that fighters against the ruling regime behaved like bandits.

Horace, on this site we condemn leftist Jews nearly as much as Muslims. As far as Israel supporting the overthrow of Assad, I’m not sure if that’s the feeling of most Israelis. As bad as Assad is, for his people and relations with Israel, they have to know that what is coming in after him (Muslim Brotherhood) will be far worse. There are a lot of left wing media outlets in Israel that may be pushing a position not entirely true.
We DO care about persecution of Christians in the Muslim world, and if you look in the Sidebar, you will see a very large Category dedicated to ‘Persecution of Christians’ by Muslims.
