I’m not at all surprised by this. You always hear the fact that Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world, however what you don’t hear is that it is also the fastest SHRINKING religion in the world with a large percentage of apostates being people who were born and raised in the religion. That this is happening in the nation that is the birthplace of Islam is no surprise either. I have even heard of Christian converts who read bibles in the Kaaba albeit disguised as qurans. Unfortunately though not surprisingly the vast majority of Muslim apostates end up becoming atheist for obvious reasons. Being turned off from Islam usually means being turned off from religion in general.
No doubt some Indonesian slave worker will be found “guilty” of dumping these Queerans in the sewer and given a one way ticket to Chop-Chop Square!

I really must protest at this utter waste of so many Korans. The paper that it is usually written on is usually soft, yet strong, and thoroughly absorbent, so I think recycling would make more sense than disposal. This would save the planet in more ways than one.

The Koran is their favourite target, so this could be a bigger stunt by them (it seems odd to me that so many Korans would just happen to find their way down the sewage system, too much of a coincidence). On the other hand, I also wonder if this isn’t some hoax by the government to distract from the growing number of their nationals fighting alongside ISIS.
