CAIR’s main Wailer claimed in the video that the muslims had a sense of humor as if no one is aware of the Charlie Hebdo massacre over muslim cartoons OR the jihadists sent to the Moohamhead cartoon drawing contest in Texas. Well, no sense of humor EXCEPT when infidels are murdered. Remember 9/11, etc…yes, they laughed then.

Bill is more naive than spineless. Once he gets a handle on what Islam is all about, he will take them on just as he has Planned Parenthood and illegal alien felons.
I disagree with him a lot, but on this one I think he simply takes Islam more as a joke than the evil tragedy it is. He’s trying to give the “good Muslims” (tee hee) a break, while calling out the “extremists” — but just wait until they get close to him with their jihad. I suspect he will be a very different person with respect to the “Religion Of Peace”.
I pray that will be the case, because he has a very big microphone.

I have to admit O’Reilly sounds kind of sappy in this video — conciliatory to an extreme. That said, I will generally stick by my words. He (O’Reilly) is by far not alone among press figures — or all Americans in general — who tend to or want to believe there is some good in everyone. If you don’t like the word “naive”, then how about “incompetent” in his understanding of Islam, and how fundamentally evil its whole system is.
Once something really atrocious happens close enough to O’Reilly to make an impact, CAIR will go from somehow deserving of positive air time to the terror and propaganda arm that it truly is. As I say, I have plenty of disagreements with O’Reilly, but I wouldn’t want to be his target once he is scorned or humiliated and the light goes on.

Never doubt that I support BNI — it’s just how I read the way O’Reilly operates. He will be sweet and solicitous to creeps like Walid, until he has something to pin directly on them. If I’m wrong, will be glad to acknowledge it. Time will tell.

As one of your posters said, he finally caught on to Sharpton (way too late), but he’s been relentless since turning. I don’t think he’s been bought, nor that he can be threatened any more than he already is. Maybe he has some constraint due to the Saudi partial interest in News Corp. Still, let’s hope he does turn and recognize Taqqiya for what it is, and the fundamental evil of Islam. He could do a lot if and when….
Gato, it’s not a matter of him finally seeing the light. Since 9/11, he has been way too accommodating of groups like CAIR. He is afraid of offending Muslims.

Maybe he IS afraid of offending Muslims…..but then you have to ask why? Can they threaten him in ways others cannot? Can they cost him his platform?
I’m sympathetic to your view and wish O’Reilly would step up more aggressively. At the same time, I can’t buy “despicable” and “spineless” as legitimate descriptions of him. His willingness to mercilessly take on Planned Parenthood as well as the issue of illegal alien felons — right down to naming congress people who would oppose appropriate legislation — have to give him some serious cred as a crusader. We just need him on this cause, which he appears to be ducking.
Anyway, it is what it is. I wouldn’t give a darn one way or another, except that he has such a large audience and could do so much in this never ending struggle. Obama is getting his way at every turn, and we will be paying the price for generations. You’re doing more than your part, while (ironically) Bill Maher is one of very few prominent media figures who will take on Obama and the reality of our present and coming Muslim problems.
