The National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM), formerly designated terrorist group CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations Canada CAIR-CAN), has the support of political leaders and activists from six Canadian cities (Calgary, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Windsor and London) for their Charter for Inclusive Communities, which aims at combatting the alleged rise in ‘Islamophobia’ and affirms certain principles, such as: “Islamophobia, like all other forms of racism, has no place in Canadian society.” (What ‘race’ is Islam?)
