Not only that, I have a balance in my Paypal account of $6,774.02 and they will not allow me to withdraw the money for 180 days. When I tried to transfer the money to my bank account, all they will transfer is $6.77.
I am pretty sure the reason has something to do with the kind of blog BNI is, but they refuse to state a reason. I have tried calling and emailing them several times. Below are 2 the 7 responses (all the same) to my different emails sent to Paypal.

I have been in a several month battle with PayPal over almost $1,000 sale. The buyer claimed the package was empty and PayPal immediately gave them back their money out of my PayPal account. I will not go into it in detail, but I thought I had been dropped into a liars convention. They outsource these things to the Philippines. If you spoke to someone in Nebraska feel honored. It took me weeks to break through that wall. All the numbers that I called from Screw PayPal did not work. I even reached a poor guy with a business who had been so unfortunate as to have been given one of those old numbers and he gave me a number but when I called and was asked for my number, BAAM!, back to Manila. It was only through the threat from law enforcement, who called them because I filed a police report, and my threat of litigation that I was reimbursed. Holding peoples money is a common practice for them. Google it. They are multi-billion dollar scammers. Everyone needs to e-mail their congressman/woman. Only the government can stop this racket. Thanks Eva, one of the people I spoke to was in India. He was very nice, he had all the details about my account, and said I should be able to withdraw my balance. He said he would talk to the people in charge, but obviously, he just wanted to get me off the phone.
The people in Manila kept telling me that it would be reviewed in the (Back Office). I truly think the Back Office is staffed by a group of Muslim men who consider women to be simple minded liars. Come to think of it, that is what I was thinking about all of them. Don’t be surprised if they try intimidation. One of the agents even told me that the FBI had completed an investigation on ME! This would have had to be done in a little over a week. I said “Oh please.” Then I told them that they were lying and that the FBI did not investigate such trivial matters. The FBI is going to investigate something that would be handled in small claims court, I don’t think so. This type of thing would surely be bumped down the line to whomever. I then turned around and called the FBI and informed them that PayPal was invoking their name to try to intimidate their customers into submission. You are correct they will tell you anything to get you off the phone and a few hours later you will get an email telling you that there has been a review and nothing has changed, and you are still screwed. I read this one post from a college student that had his money, that his parents sent, put in limbo and the hardship he incurred because of it was so sad. Others have lost their businesses because they up and limited their account. They were small business and the loss of capital that they needed for their day to day operation pulled them under. They received the very same vague explanation that you received. I am sorry for the epithel but this whole PayPal thing is just so wrong, This sentence taken from their website says it all. This is listed under limiting your account and the reasons they might do so.

This can be construed as follows, PayPal says, ” we don’t have to tell you squat. So, screw you and the horse you rode in on.”

Before you did that you should have gone to your bank and make a stop on Paypal, so that PP cannot withdraw money from you account. Remember, they have your bank info and can take out money without explaining anything to the bank.
And if PP finds out you are upset over the treatment of BNI, they might try to “punish” you, too.

BNI, You can contact the Attorney General’s office in your state and file a complaint against PayPal before having to get and pay for legal assistance. The AG’s office handles “consumer” complaints.

Maybe they can give you some information on who to contract about your problem. A good lawyer would have them providing more information on why they suspended your account and why they are allowed to hold your funds for 180 days.

I’ve always found Paypal to be an incredibly easy and safe way to pay for things online; I’ve even used them to transfer money from one country to another, since their rates were no worse than currency exchange sites. I’m really sorry; hope you get the money back okay. Maybe you can expose them if you can discover they hold accounts for really nasty organizations like those mentioned by David Levine. I suppose the only consolation is that they won’t be taking a percentage now on donations to you, so they lose as well.

bni, there is nothing I can do to get the money they owe me before six months. I am going to talk to a lawyer but this seems to be their policy and it doesn’t seem like it will change. I don’t sell anyone anything so there are no customer complaints which often causes this suspension. There are no problems with transactions as they vaguely imply, which is why I think they received complaints from CAIR about the site.
Nothing surprising here. Asking for interest and then filing a lawsuit could cause PayPal to return your funds. This is a possibility because they would not risk a ruling that affects the money they make in disputes. You may then get a settlement that includes your legal costs. Some lawyer may wish to try this for you pro bono (unless you win, in which case he would be paid).
They can be taken to small claims court which does not require an attorney. I wonder if they have blocked the accounts of haters like CAIR or the Muslim Students Association. Find out if Black Lives Matter has been blocked.
