French media no longer reports on the mass New Year’s Eve car torchings, but citizen journalists with cell phones take up the slack. Strasbourg, France turns into an Apocalyptic Dystopia as 100s of cars are set ablaze on New Years Eve.
VIDMAX Police have not disclosed how many cars were torched, but a source told AFP that the figure was larger than the previous year. A number of arrests and some minor injuries have also been reported. The burning of vehicles is an unfortunate New Year’s tradition in Muslim migrant areas of France. According to local media, 1,031 vehicles were set alight nationwide on the night of December 31, 2018, compared to 935 on the previous New Year’s Eve.

I visited Strasbourg in 89, it used to be a lovely town, with geraniums of different colors on the balconies of homes, the river running through town with barges. It was very clean, and had the most delicious “choucroute garni” (sp?), cooked cabbage with slabs of bacon…yummy.
It has a big cathedral with a famous clock with a rooster that moves around if my memory is correct. It has a historical center that goes back centuries.
It was a town where I’d love to spend a few more days and get to know it better- that was then.
I wonder if all this beauty is going to survive. It is a crime what the politicians have done to their countries by bringing in these savages from a savage culture which hates everyone who is not like them and want to destroy them.

Germany just had a huge fire in a Zoo that killed many magnificent animals.They were burned alive. It’s heartbreaking to see the destruction. The authorities are blaming it on Chinese lanterns…I wonder if there’s more to the story.
In Germany and the Primate enclosure, it’s absolutely horrific how they died, burned alive. Birds and bats also. The atrocity is abominable.
Three people turned themselves in and they are very very sorry. But the police were already investigating. So, I figure they knew they would be discovered. No identifications are given, and won’t.

I read the story this morning and up till now, I’m nauseated and haunted by how they died, the terror and suffering involved.
It was in the Daily Mail. It broke my heart to imagine how those poor animals died, couldn’t escape their locked cages. Strange the zoo didn’t have a sprinkler system against fires.
