Thank you for posting this. I know a lot of people will not watch these CAIR video conferences. But, they are very reveling of CAIR, and their members.
Watching it while looking for two important points makes it easier to sit through. First, notice how long he argues against French values. He points out the “hypocrisy” of “French values”. And, in fact, he is not even sure what French values are. And, he’s not really interested in discussing them, either.
This attitude of a parallel society returns in the fact that they don’t want to help. A Muslim slaughters a man for showing a cartoon, and their reaction is “Hey, I didn’t do it. Get off my back”. There are plenty of anti-Islamophobia groups, but no Muslim anti-jihad groups.
CAIR is the perfect example of this. If you pay attention to CAIR it is clear that they will get involved in anything other than confronting violent Muslims or obnoxious imams. The list of CAIR’s extra-curricular activities include: Black Lives Matter, American-Indians, Japanese-Americans, Hmong people, Rohingya, public school systems, restaurant management, the TSA, community police oversight, Nazis, White Supremacists, Civil War statues, and getting people they don’t like fired.
Muslims like the people in this video seem to be saying Muslims are entitled to kill for Allah. When it happens again, they will avoid the problem by complaining about the reaction to it, and cast blame elsewhere with a hardy helping of tu quo que. You wouldn’t put up with specious argumentation in your personal life, from your children, or spouse, or business partner, or salesman.
Watching the video with this awareness brings the subtext out and makes their conversation a more interesting experience. These are the bad guys and they are witnessing their allegiances right in front of you if you know how to listen.
LE, these CAIR videos are usually too long to post but this one had the French guy bitching as well as the CAIR loons so it made it more interesting.
RE: CAIR’s efforts to compare themselves to Japanese-Americans who were in internment camps during WWII makes me sick. Not because CAIR is doing it (They also compare their “plight” to Jews in Nazi Germany) but because this group of Japanese Americans goes along with it. I lived in Japan and I know for a fact that CAIR would get nowhere with real Japanese.
