Way back when, when I was a kid, I got beat up for saying that Jesus was a Jew. Then again, back then, we were the only Jewish family in the neighborhood.

Jesus from history is knownn to be half aramaic half jew. Judaism is his religious origin while aramean(son of aramean carpenter was ) his ethnic origins. Any jew reffered may not be ethnic jew( is a religion not ethnicity) but other ethnics absorbed into jewish community( thats how jews divided themselselves ashkenazi, sephardic, khazar jew( dismantled country in khazakhstan in middle ages)
On the other hand, Mohammed was apparently white (according to the Hadiths) and possessed/traded black slaves. Go figure.

Palestine has never been considered a nation state for anyone, merely a geographical area, like North America or the Sahara. I believe the name came from the Romans when they conquered the area and call it Philistine. But yes, as the historical inhabitants of the area, they could be considered the only ones.
Indeed, the Roman Empire redesignated Judea as Palestina after it destroyed Jerusalem and drove the Jews into exile. The name it used was derived from the Philistines whom the Romans understood to have lived in the area. They were essentially incorrect for two basic reasons. The ancient Philistines lived along the coastal plain not all over ancient Israel. And, the Philistines did not call themselves Philistines. The Israelites referred to them as Philistines. That name came from the Hebrew word P’lishtim (plural), meaning “foreign invaders” because the ancient Philistines were really Greeks from the Aegean basin who established settlements along the coast, long before the Romans occupied Judea. Palestina never had defined borders and never constituted a state either Greek or Arab.

I would like to remind these whack-jobs even if Jesus were “Palestinian” (no such thing back then in 4 BCE; no Muslims were around) not Jewish, that still doesn’t change the fact he worshiped in a Jewish synagogue, claimed lineage through David (who is described as Jewish in Qu’ran), and predicted the fall of Jerusalem in 70 AD.
While it’s an article of faith among Muslims to consider Jesus as one of us, how do you even deny him his Jewish heritage? Besides he’s just a human being according to us, not the Son of God as the Christians say. So why bother about his Jewish origins. Did he revert to Islam? Possibly yes, according to Islamic beliefs all human beings are Muslims. But for the sake of argument, let’s not go that far.
If you could consider the other Prophets as part of Islam including Noah, Abraham, Moses, David who all happen to be Jewish – then having a Jewish Jesus as part of Islam should be a no-brainer.

After turning Jesus into a Palestinian, the PA wanted to honor him the only way they know how: They declared him fighter (i.e., a terrorist) and an Islamic Martyr – the people who Palestinians see as the “most honorable”
The PA uses many euphemisms and terms to refer to terrorists, and they are applying two of them to Jesus.
The first is Fida’i, literally “self-sacrificing fighter.” For example, terrorist Ashraf Na’alwa, who brought a rifle to work, tied up a young mother of a 15-month-old, and then murdered her and another coworker, was called by Fatah: “The heroic Fida’i.” Fatah official Rawhi Fattouh applied this status to Jesus: “Jesus the first Palestinian Fida’i.”
The second term is Shahid – Islamic “Martyr” – the word the PA uses for every terrorist killed during his/her attack, including suicide bombers. Senior Fatah leader Tawfiq Tirawi applied both terms to Jesus: “The first Fida’i and the first Martyr, the messiah Jesus.”………..
